Have you read Yumi and The Nightmare Painter? It’s a standalone Sanderson book but takes place in the Cosmere. It had me bawling at the end and I’m a rough tough 42 year old blue collar man. 😂
This is the best ambient soundtrack for reading I've seen... ever. I'm reading ROW, and these songs capture so well the book's atmosphere it is unreal. It's ironic how even the most epic moments fit with the music, and they are a given a more sorrowful, more despairing feel. All of this to say, thank you very much

The "Dune" track is by far the best, there's something special about it. The vocals are very reminiscent of the vocals that Yuka Kitamura uses for the Dark Souls 3 OST's. They're great! Would be nice to see more similar tracks like this.

reading the way of kings rn for the first time. first brandon sanderson book ever! heres to hoping its good!
I just finished it recently and am on book 2. Way of Kings is quite slow but the pay off is worth it imo!
Pay off is DEFINITELY worth it. Lots of build up and description, but you get such a great feel for the shattered plains because of it.
