Great little pick though. Does remind me of when I bought my corvette, did drive for longer, but went over bump and it broke and ended up on a flat bed too before ever making it home!
Had a clio 172 few years back hated it shit build quality, sold after 1 month went out and bought a audi 8p a3 2.0 tfsi sline 3 door, still all good 4 years on and totally a superior car, tbh if your on about a 3-4k budget just buy the 8p a3 2.0T...look on ebay or autotrader should still be able to buy a tidy example
That exhaust is 100% coming off, along with plenty of other things, the first trackday you do in it. Just commit yourself to the car, spend a few grand replacing all the worn out parts and get poly bushing mounts etc and it'll be right. I run 2 of these, one for pure track work, the other is a restoration project which i also daily. Great cars when they're looked after. So many sheds about though. Shame really.
Brilliant cars these im sure youl love it. Ive had a silver FF 182 for 8-9 years now its never let me down and never fails to put a smile on the face

@@CarsWithSmithy way too common, well, maybe it's just us lol
Sorry to see this but hopefully it’ll be ok soon and you can enjoy it. Great fun cars - I’ve had two and now just got a 172 cup
I’ve got it back now, check out my recent video 👍🏻
1.38k subbed. Watching the track project from the start 👏
Hope you enjoy the series 👍🏻
P.s always liked the silver 182
That it rotten luck to break down a few yards from the purchased place, did the seller say anything mate.
Seller gave me back a bit of money as a good will gesture which covered the cost of the springs
@@CarsWithSmithy that's nice to hear.
Interested in other aux belt tensioner.
Show more about it in another vid?
Will do in the next Clio video 👍🏻

Thats unlucky mate, be ready for some abuse in no time 👍
Thats it mate. Josh at JL Automotive has already taken some steps to get it on its way for a track setup 👍🏻
