Honestly though the Eagles didn't beat a single winning team all season. They finished with the exact same record as Indy so I don't see what Philly won. Hurts was garbage in the playoff game.
@@smithnwesson990 Cause the NFL scheduled all our games against playoff teams in the first 7 weeks and gave us the latest bye week there has ever been in week 14. The only playoff team we faced after week 7 was the Cowboys in week 18 and we sat everyone for that game while the Cowboys played seriously to try and get their rhythm back. We weren’t the same team early in the season we weren’t committed to running the ball and Jalen was throwing 30-50 times a game. When the coaches realized what the identity of the team was we had practically played all the playoff teams and we did beat the Saints who had an above .500 record. If you change every one score game the Eagles would’ve had the best record in the NFC and that isn’t me saying we were a really good team cause tbh I think we were closer to average than anything, but with our talent level which most were saying was bottom 5. Might wanna check where the Eagles and Colts were this time last year in power rankings. Colts underperformed while the Eagles exceeded expectations after one of the most dysfunctional years top to bottom in recent memory for Philly. Eagles won big time knowing to just take the big cap hit and move on from Wentz. Doesn’t mean we are some top 5 team with a great QB. We also could’ve won 10 games if we played our starters at home in the final week. Not even sure why you made the comment you did. It was pretty irrelevant and wrong.

@@peterf.4268 If he does exactly what he did this year with the Colts. Almost 4k yards and 28 TD's with just 7 INT's, that would be a massive upgrade in production. Washington has better WR's and TE's and their oline outperformed Indys last season. They were ranked 6th while Indy was ranked 11th. There's no reason to think he cant build on those numbers next year.

Yeah definitely they missed their chance but also when they traded for Wentz their high value picks for him thinking he was their QB of the future which of course didn’t pan out but oh well atleast they announced it after Rodgers and Wilson situations were announced
Dude shut up. They weren't going to get Rodgers or Wilson regardless of what they did with Wentz. Rodgers is staying in GB and Denver gave up a fortune in draft picks (which the Colts didn't have) to get Wilson. On top of that Wilson could choose where he was traded.
This saved the Colts a lot of cap space and got them a few picks. Not the greatest result but given the circumstances about the best that could be hoped for.

This is a step backward for the Colts. I thought I wanted Wentz gone, but who's better that's still out there? Jameis is the best fit in our offense unless we can get a guy like Carr. Down a LT and now a QB. Arguably the two most important positions on your team, definitely the two most important on your offense. The colts are about to have an OOF-fense

They picked up his contract too they have to pay him. His entire contract so it's a little bit more than a few third round picks. They just decrease the amount of cap space they have now. I was on the fence whether or not I was going to continue to root for this dumpster fire called Washington. This cemented my decision of jumping ship after almost 50 years. Considering the last time they had a good quarterback I was in high school and I have grandkids. If that doesn't tell you that this team will never figure it out then nothing will. This reminds me of when this all started out signing old quarterbacks that were washed up with the old Jacksonville 42-year-old I can't even remember his name but that's when this s*** started and it still continuing we always pick up garbage that nobody wants anymore. Should have just kept Taylor Heineke and had another losing season with him until we can get a good quarterback. No point in selling out money on another loser. I don't believe he's much of an upgrade over Taylor anyway

I think I overreacted probably way too much but I guess that's what it is to be a Washington fan at this point. I would've given Wentz a 2nd chance in Indy personally. I would've let him know that if he throws an easy game like how he did against Jacksonville he'd immediately released after.

Did you see his stats for the 2nd half of last season? He was awful. The Colts saved a lot of money by releasing him. I probably would have kept him too just because....who the hell else is there? But hopefully the Colts have a plan.
