One thing I can immediately tell they’ve done better on this season is getting participants who are actually extremely open to getting to know other people. There were so many contestants from previous seasons who were dead set on someone from the beginning and it kind of defeated the purpose of being on a dating show, since they primarily went for only one person.
Hye-seon is so adorable, you can't help but love her and i love how animated she is and relaxed and she doesn't take herself too seriously, positive, i just want to be her friend.
This season so far is FIREEE. A great twist in concept, and the cast this season is a lot more vocal and engaging than past seasons. Whoever casted them needs a raise. Dex was a bit slow in episode 1, but the next episodes he popped off.
It’s funny because I didn’t get good first impressions from either Gwanhee or Haejeong, but I find them so fun and entertaining together now. They both sounded full of themselves at first. Gwanhee expecting people to know who he was when literally only one person out of both the panel and cast recognized him killed me. I think it was a bit producer-induced, but I didn’t enjoy how Haejeong immediately put herself above her sister’s close friend. Although I enjoy them together now, I think they’re going to be slightly territorial over each other, which will definitely cause drama throughout the show.
This season started the best out of the other two and Gwan Hee and Ha jeong chemistry and back and forth is a big big pull but I need to see more to say it is better especially since last season when Dex came in the season reached an unreal level in terms of drama, anticipation, excitement, iconic moments and story which I feel will be near impossible to top. Also agree that adding Dex to the panel was a master stroke he added his own things and I think his chemistry with the other panellists is great he make me like them even more

They didn't steal anything, hajeong seems to be head over heels for gwan he meanwhile he is clearly telling her he has option. Some of their dialogues are funny but doesn't help to feel gwan he feeling for her
I agree with you, Anna! As of now, I think Minkyu is my fave guy because he seems shy & sweet (yet has that buff bod 🔥) As for girls, don't have a fave as yet. Maybe Hyeseon for now 😋
Gyu ri was so boring during her date with the coast guard. I feel like she has been able to get through past relationships and life in general by her looks and didn't need to develop an interesting personality perhaps?
I’m glad they changed it up! My fav I have to say is the girl with the short hair! She seems more genuine than the rest of the girls! I know he’s a bad boy but I like Gwanhee! Also I need to see more Hanbin! Can’t wait for the rest of the episodes! I hate that we have to wait! 😩
My fav out of the girls has to be Hye-seon, i just love the vibes. But Si-eun is such a cutie, im rooting for her! Out of the guys however, I'm super stuck between Min-kyu (my type) and Jin-seok. And omg, Jin-seok seems so unreal to me, like this guy is so charming. Based on his looks you would never guess that he loves baking, and that was soooo attractive to me. I'm pretty curious about Ha-bin. I may be delulu but he reminds me so much of the male lead in Hometown Cha Cha Cha (its his smile). This season is gonna be so good, i can already tell.
I am not a fan of Gwanhee, he's the type of guy that would make me feel extremely annoyed in real life lol. I actually do think he's kinda nervous, a lot of the times he doesn't really know what to say and he avoids eye contact a lot which to me are some signs that he's not as confident as he pretends to be. I also don't really find him attractive and his comments seem douchey. Dex had a lot of charisma in S2, way more than this guy. I'm happy they brought him back. And Ha-jeong will definitely create drama but tbh, that look she gives other guys is ridiculous lol. I kinda find her smile creepy ngl.
I agree he was doing the reverse psychology thing about her age! But, I also think he's projecting a bit too. He was weird when he found out the first girl was so young too and I think he'd prefer someone a bit older, closer to his age. Just a guess.
The plot twist of 2 infernos was too good lol I'm already addicted. Personally I don't get the hype around Gwanhee (he's not that conventionally attractive, especially with that haircut, and like you said he's a bit of a red flag at times).
I just love hyeseon and ha bin I hope they meet eachother and pair up I just feel they're more genuine while other girls are literally a cheeky and also has lot of attitude

This season is giving the "playboy playgirl vibes" the happenings for the first 3 episodes seems like final episodes from the previous season. Not liking the basketball player, the office girl Edit: okay, i'm wrong about Ha Jeong I kind of like her after showing this basketball player how rude he came off.
I thought the same thing about Won-ik, he reminded me of V from BTS! My favorite so far, probably Min-woo for the guys as I tend to root for the sweet underdog who doesn’t necessarily get the girl right off the bat (like Jong-woo from season 2). For the girls, not sure. Probably Hye-seon as she seems most natural. I don’t like girls who act or look fake (too much plastic surgery or hair extensions), and I think Hye-seon is just naturally smart and lovely, but I think she’ll be entertaining as well.

We are American and sometimes are confused by what we see, and it's nice to have a Korean perspective on the norms and culture. I agree with you on the sets and food. What's with that?!! The scene in the bathtub was just cringey for me. It's a really romantic and intimate setting, but unfortunately with two people who didn't know each other yet, and it just came off as soooo awkward. I felt sorry for them. My favorite girl so far is Hye-seon, but I also like Min-young as she seems to have a great personality, and that helicopter scene just cracked me up with her falling asleep. My favorite guy so far is Min-kyu as he seems to have such a nice personality, but I think Ha-bin is the best looking, so handsome, and I hope he gets more air-time so we can find out more about him.

I think the Pilates instructor and owner of the 3 bakeries are the most sincere and hope they leave the season as a couple.
The bickering and bantering between Hwanee and Ha Jeong had me dying laughing splitting my pants dude! 🤣🤣🤣 The part when she asked "Does my face look puffy today?" And he replies "No it looked puffy since yesterday" 😂😂😂 LMAOOOOO

Hye-seon isn't a Nadine. What separates them is that Hye-seon has a cute & bubbly personality. On the other hand, Nadine stated quite emphatically that she's not into being "cute." Nadine came off a bit like a feminist who has issues with women playing cute and innocent to gain favor from men. Nadine tries to gain favor from men by showing that she shares their interests (e.g., shooting guns). Nadine also came off as more guarded and self-conscious about putting her feelings out there. Hye-seon is very open and uninhibited with her feelings. Their personalities are basically total opposites.
i honestly found hajeong exasperating... like that "chemistry" with gwanhee can only last for so long before it gets tiring af. i dont' find it enteratining to watch... also from the previews it looks like she will simp for gwanhee to the end which is lowkey pathetic
I didn't like the gehtto look of "hell island", just visually very unappealing. the pace of the first episode was way to fast imo, but the second and third episode better and more enjoyable.
I love Korean period dramas, My Dearest really enjoyed that with NamKoong Min, Ahn EunJin (have fallen in love with her ❤) both actors were amazing, Joseon Lawyer: A Morality with Woo DoHwan and WJSN's BoNa, Cha HakYeon as well as Our Blooming Youth with Park HyungSik, Jeon SoNee, and Pyo YeJin were also good, currently watching The Matchmakers with RoWoo and Cho YiHyun, brilliant acting

Nadine came off a bit like a feminist who has issues with women playing cute and innocent to gain favor from men. Nadine tries to gain favor from men by showing that she shares their interests (e.g., shooting guns). Nadine also came off as more guarded and self-conscious about putting her feelings out there. Hye-seon is very open and uninhibited with her feelings. Their personalities are basically total opposites.

I love Korean period dramas, My Dearest really enjoyed that with NamKoong Min, Ahn EunJin (have fallen in love with her ❤) both actors were amazing, Joseon Lawyer: A Morality with Woo DoHwan and WJSN's BoNa, Cha HakYeon as well as Our Blooming Youth with Park HyungSik, Jeon SoNee, and Pyo YeJin were also good, currently watching The Matchmakers with RoWoo and Cho YiHyun, brilliant acting
