Sometimes you think you have another rep or two in you at the moment and you go for it, and realize wait a second I don't actually have enough for that extra rep like I thought I did. There could also be times where you accidentally hit something when trying to re-rack and it throws you off. Anyways it's smart to learn how to bail at the end of the day. Better to know how to avoid possibly injuring yourself than to have no clue and end up stuck with a barbell on your neck.

A lot of people are lazy and don't want to put in the work, so they quarter-rep 2000LBS on the leg press and call it legit, then leave so that someone else has to put all of those plates away.

I surmise that the moment they can “feel” the weight, when the support of the skeletal frame begins to transfer to the muscle, that they have to push it up so they don’t become crushed.

1st guy was gonna fail that 315 bench even if he had proper leg drive (which he didn't). He didn't even do full ROM so he knew it was too heavy for him.
@aliendroneservices6621 Actually, if you're doing over 15 reps, you don't need safties while benching. If you're doing 3 reps or fewer and are going for max or complete failure, definitely have safties. It also helps to know your limitations.
