I've watched so many restoration videos, I'm confident I'm now able to take apart my fridge, clean all the parts and put it back together again as a washing machine.

Ha! that's nothing! I'd take apart my fridge and put it back together as a time machine ;-) Seriously though I love these restorations it is so cool to see old tools brought back to life and made just as they were when new. I have an old Black and Decker drill my dad passed on to me about 20 years ago after he had had it for 20 years or so. It did me for about 10 years before locking up. These vids have made me consider trying to bring it back to full working condition. I'm currently learning the basics of blacksmithing as a backyard project but I hope to try the restoration later this year.
