Goofy harry potter Christmas what if idea what if instead of going to hogwarts Harry accidentally kills Santa in a comedic way and Harry potter has to become the new Santa
I love these long videos you do, they help me fall asleep instead of being plagued by bad thoughts. Honestly from the 20-30 minute videos to these really long ones, these are genuinely so appreciated
I’m not convinced Slytherin was a dark wizard. 3 other “good” witches and wizards are just friends with this super bad dude? Doesn’t make sense. I think he was misguided in his hatred but probably also feared his own and his friends death. Perhaps it’s more of an Anakin to Vader fall for Salazar where’s he’s good most of the time but then got persuaded by fear of loss- without the redemption arc. Perhaps that’d be a good show- dive into his life and then give him that arc and it would help to show how Voldemort twisted Slytherin’s intention. I think the basilisk could’ve been the tool to help protect the castle and it was in the chamber to protect those in the castle until / unless it would need to be utilized in the chance of a muggle attack.
I believe that even though Voldemort could communicate and even command to some degree he couldn’t bypass its principal goal which was to protect the school so it would eventually bite himself if he didn’t gained total control of it. So he had to gain control or eliminate it in the end and the later was what ended up happening.
In the film she was so pretentious, cruel and obnoxiously loyal to the Ministry of Magic that we all hated her too. Well acted by Imelda Staunton. Credit where it's due.
Found out that Tom Riddle was born December 31st. Professor Trelawney gave Harry a look and said something about being born in the gloomy winter. Given that Harry was a horcrux of Riddle, it makes sense that Trelawney was reading the part of Voldemort within Harry.
Why? That’d just be boring. Wizards never get involved in muggle wars. Wizards didn’t have their own ww1 and ww2. We even know what happened in the wizarding world during ww1. Grindelwald just showed wizards what was going on to show them how stupid muggles are.
The self duplicating coin reminds me of the ring from norse myth. Blackwoods labyrinth is interesting because he is basically the maze and the minotaur.
The fact that he wrote this stuff down to teach it to other people makes me think of him as less evil. Cus most evil wizards want to keep their knowledge to themselves so no one knows how to defend against it or defeat them
One question on horcruxes is, how do we really know how the ways to destroy them were discovered? Cause that was also in the book Hermoine read, the only 2 known ways to destroy them, basilisk venom and fiendfyre.
Fascinating though all of this is, the basilisk in Harry Potter can't have been Bullock's horcrux. Griffindor's sword only became imbued with basilisk venom by/after killing the basilisk. If the basilisk had been a horcrux it couldn't have been killed by the sword, tethered to life through Bullock himself. Attaching part of your soul to a living creature is highly unreliable. Even Voldemort said so. He kept Nagini close after certain events. Herpo on the other hand is nowhere near Hogwarts and the Chamber of Secrets. I can't imagine Herpo abandoning the basilisk, not knowing what would happen to it. Dangerous though the beast is, it isn't unbeatable. Another point is that it didn't put up a fight like the other horcruxes did. And after it was pierced there was no sign that Herpo's soul was destroyed in the process. It was just the dead basilisk. Whereas with Voldemort's horcruxes we got signs that more than a mere item was destroyed. The opal necklace sounds more plausible, but it was in the possession of Dumbledore. Would he not have recognised it as a horcrux? Would he not have been aware of the history of Herpo? Dumbledore had studied horcruxes, the book was in his office. He understood the magic behind them, the defences put on them. And I would expect the horcrux to be in Greece somewhere. Greece has so many historically and mythically significant places.
1) To add to your point, as much as i ADORE HP's Basilisks, they are indeed NOWHERE NEAR UNKILLABLE. In fact they are extremely fragile. A Basilisk will be instakilled the moment he hears a rooster's morning crowing!😂😂😂 2) Slytherin's name basically confirms he is a descendant of Herpo the Foul. Herpo, in Greek Έρπων (Herpon), is the present tense nominative masculine participle of the verb έρπω (herpo) which means slither, and it means "he who is slitherin' ". If we talked about real life, sure, that could be a coincidence, but in Harry Potter, Rowling having explicitly chosen his ethnicity, his name and the other two elements that connect him directly and exclusively to Slytherin (being the only named figures who we know to have hatched Basilisks) and Voldemort (being the only two named figures who we know to have made Horcruxes) counts as confirmation.
I have a question about Morgan. I’m assuming that the cards that were given out with the chocolate frogs works the same way as baseball cards. Or even magic the gathering cards. So my hypothesis would be this since he had six of her cars already. That while she was strong, maybe not as strong as some others because her card would be considered common not rare or legendary. Unless Ron just got lucky enough to get six of her.
Only Bellatrix was a Death Eater. - Andromeda did not side with Voldemort and his views - Narcisa was never a death eater though she did support her husband and blood purity views
Oh yer makes know sense to do a video lol but what would be interesting is how the death eaters followed voldemort with the idea in keeping the pure blood line even though voldemort was half blood
Actually the Black sisters story is fascinating and there is a sensational fan made film illustrating their time as children and experience with their parents. Bellatrix was treated quite badly by her father.
The Dementors were the least frightening part of Azkaban when they found it?? Ugh .. I kind of want to see a film about the history of Azkaban now, that sounds great! Could be a "horror" entry in the Harry Potter universe.

While attending Hogwarts, he punched and broke many walls keeping Argus flinch extremely busy. They had to band monster blood at the school because of this.
