Упоительно!
leonid kogan, a great violinist through the 19th~20th century, from his strings, definitely it is a dull way and pessimist view to this world, probably this is why kogan understands Paganini so well, for kogan did not only understand Paganini, but he interpreted Paganini's feelings and emotions, and brought Paganini back to this live show, in front of the audience!
The redemptive power of art (music) - right here.
Ahh the Gypsy spirit lives on ....
Great violinist! Passionate playing & full of emotions. THANK YOU!
best recording of BRAHMS Hungarian dance # 1
That's because it's virtually identical all across to Joachim's own 1903 recording, only played by a younger, more vigorous violinist.
He's such a wonderful musician. passionate playing full of emotions!

THE BEST VIOLINIST
Grande!!!
Best!
The best
Nearly all great violinists of the 20th Century had Russian roots, whether they were Jews or not. However, most were also Jews. The western Europeans not so much - Francescatti, Grumiaux, Ferras, Thibaud, etc.
Knowing that russian school is coming from Wieniawski who was from the French Belgium school as he completed his violin studies in Paris.

a small notification for the video editor;
"great Ukrainian violinist"
or even better
"great Soviet violinist"
A great Jewish violinist ;)
@@MulePirate it would be so if he lived and learnt violin playing in Israel. But he lived and studied in Soviet Union, so he isn't Jewish violinist. He is Jewish, yes, but not Jewish violinist.
He was not ukrainian.
