That is without a doubt the best unboxing i have ever seen. That looks like a great saw for cutting hard to reach limbs. I may just have to check in to this saw. I have an Echo 18 inch saw and i absolutely love it.
Just purchased this same saw a week ago and have been using it a lot. It’s a little power house and I love the way it screams. I chose the 14” bar. Haven’t needed to sharpen it yet which really surprised me. Good video as usual. Thanks
I have owned the 27cc version since 2008, and it still runs beautifully well. Echo stuff will cost a bit more than most other makes, but will last a lifetime with care.
I bought one of these when they first came out. I have found it so handy that it now lives on my tractor almost full-time. I added a saw scabbard to one of the FEL uprights, mounted so as not to interfere with raising the loader at all. It is so nice to have something to deal with unexpected tree fall or limbs in the way while out working on the property. Hell, I've even taken down 6" trees with it, rather than trudge back to the shop for a big saw. It's almost become my primary saw, in terms of hours used per year. To maximize the saw's potential, I switched to the narrow kerf bar and chain, which makes a noticeable difference, since the engine isn't pushing as wide a chain, and almost eliminated the chattering. I stuck with the 12" bar; it just seems to balance better. I call this saw my "scalpel". Try it!
I just ordered this exact saw, not the 2511T, but the 2511TN. It has a narrower kerf, .43, for cutting through stuff faster, like my MS170. Looking forward to this saw!
I love this little Echo arbor saw and wanted one so bad. Unfortunately, 2 years ago when I was ready to get one, they were back ordered and not one available across the entire country. I ended up with the Husqvarna top handle, instead. I am very happy with it, and it's turned out to be a nice little saw. I just had my heart set on the Echo. If I buy another, it'll be the Echo. Now mind you, I have a Stihl 201, but like the Husqvarna more, so I'm confident of like the 2511 even more.
I am a Stihl guy for the most part. When we bought Barbs portable building, that place was also an Echo dealer. They were having an open house with some really good discounts. We got additional discounts when we bought the building and I ended up buying the Echo pole saw. I have been very happy with it. However, you need to eat your Wheaties for breakfast. That thing will wear you out.
My Dewalt battery Sawzall is probably heavier than your new saw, I can do a lot of cutting on a charged battery, but yours looks like a lot more fun. 😊 and it's cute
Since I live in the west we have times when all gas powered chain saws are prohibited. Since I have Makita tools I bought a 36v chainsaw. It is a power house and my go to saw when I need to limb or cut down small trees. I had an echo cs3000 which was very reliable.
Great video! That looks like my wife might like using it. btw, I think I recently discovered the "trick" (well at least it works for me) to the chain untangling. Once you get it to the point where there are two loops (like Mickey Mouse ears), where the chain that's crossing is over the *top* going from one loop to the other, then pull the chain from opposite the two loops **through** the two loops. If I could draw a picture it would be a lot easier to explain.
I think Stihl is making a great error not offering a chainsaw in this mite category. It is a must. I have a 1993 Stihl 021 with a 16in blade @ 35 cc that is considered heavy for its class. Still runs great but lugging it around for smaller branch work is tedious as I am getting older.
My experience is that it's the Little dog that will bite you. Small and lightweight saws do look and feel like toys. I wonder how many more chainsaw accidents are occurring with the small saw craze. I recently bought the Milwaukee M18 Pruning saw because I already have M18 batteries and tools. I like it. Maybe it's the chain, but it doesn't do well with an undercut.
Ed, I do like that saw my neighbor cut 3 large trees for me last week he had the small Stihl he used it more than the big saws. I have been looking to buy one. I am 64 the big saws are getting too much to handle.
I like it Ed! I like it a LOT….but I don’t like it $449.00 a lot!!😎🤣 Echo makes good stuff but, not at Stihl prices. Still…that’s gonna make your work ahead a WHOLE lot easier!! Enjoy!! And thanks for sharing!!
Nice little saw. Seems it has a place and a need. I would just warn you about those engineered fuels. I watch chickcanic, Channel on RUclips she spends all day long fixing no start chainsaws with that engineered fuel. I don't know much about it don't use the stuff, but if when your chainsaw doesn't start one day I would check that first.
Good Day Ed ( I can't wait to see you tonight on your OUTSTANDING Monday Livestreams 👍👌🧐Now that is THE BEST UNBOXING EVER ✨🚀👍🤣 ( Nice thinking outside the box ! 🤔) It is nice feature to have in order to not to lose the nut in the field 😮🤔🤣👍Very Nice Sexy Looking Chainsaw 👍😎Very nice cold start 😇👍👌Add More Mix oil during the break time ( Read you owner manual Ed 👌👍🧐) Quality does not come Cheap Sir 🧐👍See You Tonight Cheers 👍👌😇🍻
Nice saw. However, I noticed that your shirt took quite an oiling in your demonstration. So does that mean you ruin your cloths on every use or need to have your grubby shirt on standby when you want to use the saw? 😁
As a professional arborist, my previous experiences with echo saws means I wouldn't touch one with a 10ft barge pole. Besides, in Europe, you "should" have a 'chainsaw from harness' qualification to buy a top handled climbing saw as the lack of back handle means that the risk of kick back is waaaay greater.
Yes I have on their great don't think I did is I changed the fuel cap and oil cap to the Husqvarna flip top ones and it's a lot easier to get them on and off now
Damn! $500! Think I'll stick with my Stihl MS 180 C-BE with easy start. Yeah it's a little bigger with 16" bar and about 9lbs. Paid $269 at the time. But not knocking your review. Good review! Thanks for putting forth the effort for all of us!

Nice little saw! Love the unboxing and the review. Seems to work very well. Thanks!
Thank you, Ross! Had some fun with this one.
Lol that tiny saw is like the one my 3 year old has.
Btw that chainsaw you have is surprisingly strong for its weight and size.
New subscriber!
Thanks @seanslawns. Welcome! Yes I’m loving this “little” saw! -Ed

Thanks Gord. I really love it!

I love this saw!
Really liked the rapid unboxing. I hear that the new models will assemble themselves by just pulling the starter rope!
🤣🤣🤣
Hey, that's a really sweet little saw.

I believe I tried that saw at the Equip Expo last year. Nice video and enjoy the saw.
great durable saw. best saw for its price. i was an arborist for over 20 years and i chose echo for a climbing saw over husqvarna or stihl
Great little saw, did a chainsaw course years ago when i was 19 ( full size saw) after i qualified i started on a mini 8inch but big engine. Great fun
Thank you!

From what I"m hearing, that's the nature of pole saws. Makes sense since you're hanging a piece of equipment off a literally 10 foot pole!
My Dewalt battery Sawzall is probably heavier than your new saw, I can do a lot of cutting on a charged battery, but yours looks like a lot more fun. 😊 and it's cute
Yeah I use my Dewalt recip too. It’s handy as well. But definitely not at cute 😄
We have 2 of these , superb saws, my other top handle saws don't get used now.
Love this video and now I want one!!!
I just purchased the new ECHO 56V eFORCE Cordless 18-inch Rear Handle Chain Saw with 5Ah Battery and its amazing.
They make good equipment!
It looks like a great saw. Side chain adjustment is good.
Awesome Video
But I kept hearing a Echo in the background 😂
I see what you did there, Phil. 🤣
Since I live in the west we have times when all gas powered chain saws are prohibited. Since I have Makita tools I bought a 36v chainsaw. It is a power house and my go to saw when I need to limb or cut down small trees. I had an echo cs3000 which was very reliable.
What you can't have a chainsaw
Good morning Ed, great video, great editing 👍👍 looks like a nice little chainsaw. Have a good one, Ben
Thanks Ben!
I had a cs 300 and a 8000 echo loved them both
Great video! That looks like my wife might like using it. btw, I think I recently discovered the "trick" (well at least it works for me) to the chain untangling. Than makes sense 👍😄
I like what you did there Ed 😄
Thank you!
Very nice Ed. The top handle saws are so incredibly handy.
I don’t know about the Echo, but the Stihl top handle saw is quite pricey.
Thanks Gary. You can buy I big saw for the same price! I guess you really do pay for convenience.

I think it’s going to become my go-to saw. There’s a link pinned as the top comment if you want to check it out.
😂Clever unboxing there Ed. Talk to ya tonight 👍✊
Thanks Bob!
I like it Ed! I like it a LOT….but I don’t like it $449.00 a lot!!😎🤣
Echo makes good stuff but, not at Stihl prices.
Still…that’s gonna make your work ahead a WHOLE lot easier!!
Enjoy!! And thanks for sharing!!
I understand, Keith. I've been eyeing up this saw for over a year before jumping in!
@@MyClutteredGarage yea…and now you got ME eyein it up!!😬🫣🤣🤣
WHeres your cluttered garage hat ???? Nice video as usual.
Hahahaha.... awesome video! Great editing... and LOVED the thumbnail. Great job! Enjoy the saw!!
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Nice little saw. I got a small stihl I’m not crazy about. Out of your big saws what one do you like better?
I only just started using the Stihl which is older and used. I haven’t found either the Stihl or Husqvarna to be better than one another.
I always was a stihl guy. I got my rancher 455 probably 15 years ago. Been a good saw.
Easiest way to untangle a chain. Lay it on table. Pull under instead of over every time. It will work itself out
Hi ed 👋
That's fantastic, great 👍 video subscribed cheers
Thank you and welcome!
Pretty cool lil saw but still prefer a Stihl ms-194t over that one….stihl hasn’t let me down….yet 😉

I appreciate that. The problem here is that ethanol-free fuel is not available here at the pump. Which is the worse choice?
Stihl’s motomix is 50:1 and will last in the tank over the winter, I kid you not. It’s an amazing product.

How much does this saw cost and where did you buy it

Actually that was sweat from this humid day! 😄
Good to know....LOL. And i thought that was oil all sprayed back from the saw.

And the face shield on an arb helmet is to stop sawdust and little else. It won't do squat if you have an issue with your chain.
"i use them to open my beef jerkey packets"
Is that an X-Series?
Hi. Yes it is. Love this little saw!
Yes I have on their great don't think I did is I changed the fuel cap and oil cap to the Husqvarna flip top ones and it's a lot easier to get them on and off now
That’s interesting that the Husqvarna caps fit!
@@MyClutteredGarage yes the top-handle Caps will work there's two different ones a large and a small if you do get a mixture get this small ones
