*Tamils mostly(95%) don't know Hindi.*
*At least, they know some words in English.*

You take many states in India, the issue is almost the same. The interiour places people don't speak Hindi. We conclude Hindi to be widely spoken in India based on the Hindi litracy in the main metros and the state capitals. Leave alone south, the Hindi penetration is not good in the interior places even in northern states

Dear all indians are brothers and sisters. I am a tamil. I have tried to learn hindi for my communication and business purposes. We are not against any language. But in recent times our central government is imposing hindi in our curriculum. So that is a matter of imposition.

I don’t know where you guys live in Hyderabad! And I assume you guys are not native Telugu Speakers. Might be North settlers(No offense just assumption)
But Hyderabad has only 25% of Telangana Population, 40% of Andhra Population, 15% Native Hyderabadi(OldCity) Population & 20% From other states.
Hyderabad is once Capital of UnBifurcated AndhraPradesh, and now Common Capital of Telangana & Bifurcated AndhraPradesh.
which are in South India.
I know you guys know but Again as you referred Telangana & Andhra has different culture.
1.Telangana & Andhra share same language - Telugu.
Slangs might be different. If you go down south, Chennai Tamil slang is quite different from Coimbatore Tamil or Madurai Tamil or Ooty Tamil.
That doesn’t mean they are all separated or different.
Similarly every state in South has a language in common but different dialects & Slangs as they go to different districts or subregions.
2. None of Major cities have 100% cultural weddings and especially Metropolitans and mega cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore have cultural influence from other parts as well as they have settlers from all around the country.
If you go to North most District of Telangana, Adilabad even there you only see Food being served in Banana leaves.
Telangana & Andhra share same language, Same culture as they are one together till 2014 and they are In South India.
It’s just emotion, Reasons and causes that differentiated people.
But we are Proud to say We are
Telugu People!
Hyderabadi!
South Indians!
Indians!
