Hey man I learned something new! I always pressed flame shock and then immediately primordial wave, but it’s better to spread regular flame shocks first then primordial wave.
Thats awesome to hear man! I actually used to do exactly what you said back in Slands when Prim Wave first came out. It wasn't horrible to do when the meta was the Primordial Surge > Splintered Elements. But now because Haste is so impactful, getting as many shocks out first is super super important to getting the most haste from your wave as possible! :) Thanks so much for watching.
Your build is very nice, but i dont take Flux melting. I take the other one. Its much only 15% increase instead of 20%. But all of your casts makes 15% more. Not only Lavaburst. But year, you have to cast Icefury before.
Yea this is a little out of date now sadly because the patch is 10.1.5 - I'd take the nature damage one as well now, having extra damage for your Earth Shocks on Icefury Frost Shock casts is a crazy way to burst someone down quick or finish a kill! :)
Hey all! I forgot to mention in the intro of the video - but if you'd like you can join my discord! I answer any questions super fast there and I definitely want to do some RBGs with subscribers etc. I really appreciate all the support you guys always give the channel, and I hope you have a great day! Enjoy this guide, there's much much more content to come asap! :) discord.gg/5bXA2eyGUt
I could tell by the way you framed things early on that you play at decent level. Good good guide..thanks from a 2400 mage bumbling through ele for the first time lol.
I would suggest practicing using your transcendence teleports more effectively if that seems to be an issue! A lot of the time I die, I feel like I could have just teleported out of a fight instead of using a defensive and stay in. So I just suggest basically when you feel like you need to use Dampen Harm, try to Transcendence out - some games this just isnt an option, but kiting as a WW monk is super effective! I hope this helps a lil :)
Omg I completely thought this was a comment on my WW guide LMAO - As ele you really need to utilize your earthgrab, static field/grounding as well as sitting on a pillar majority of the game to your advantage. If its a melee lobby, sit on a pillar and kite the melee constantly out of LoS of their healer; even if you're dealing no damage, if your teamate is, they'll eventually have to get off of you. Try to use Borrow after Astral Shift, and Astral Shift at like 60-70% hp not 30-40% hp. If you use borrow while Astral Shift is up, something is wrong; astral shift should be enough on it's own to keep you alive during an entire go. Also remember that ancestral guidance is based on how much damage/healing you're doing so use it to when you plan on countering pressure with even more pressure; it'll make you surprisingly tanky, that and spamming healing stream totem off CD.@@armeniandguy
If you think I don't get trained being a shammy, I'm very surprised lmao. It happens - you just have to get used to dealing with the pressure of that, ele sham in particular has a great amount of utility to peal themselves from melees specifically. Just keep practicing!
Hey! If you have primal elementalist, your fire elemental has the Meteor ability - you can use it by typing in a macro /cast Meteor I try to time pressing that button when I'm about to release a bunch of lava bursts via primordial wave so that the meteor and the lava bursts hit at the same exact time. It does a significant amount of damage. :)
I can definitely do an updated one yea! Was going to hold off until 10.2 but they haven't even announced a 10.2 release date yet so LMAO This build is still pretty relevant right now though - It's very much just spam lava burst instant casts > dump maelstrom into earth shocks ONLY when you need a lava burst insta cast. Spread flame shocks to EVERYTHING and press Lava Burst non-stop basically.
Hey! They started using Electrified Shocks now > Flux Melting to buff their stormkeeper proc and buff Earth Shock damage, so what they'll do is Icefury > Frost Shock > Lava Burst > Earth Shock for max Earth Shock damage. and it does PRETTY gnarly damage. Can hit for like 150-180k Earth Shocks. It's a good way to end a game.
Meteor is from the Primal Elementalist talent. Your Fire Elemental turns into a Primal Fire Elemental with the talent, and it gains access to the ability, "Meteor" - You can make a macro to: /cast Meteor In order to control when the meteor from the elemental comes out. It deals a significant amount of damage.
Hey! Honestly anything that you enjoy is the most important imo - if you're looking for the meta pick, I'd say Orc or Dark Iron Dwarf depending Horde or Alliance. But race isn't too too important right now. Orc is really good vs rogues because of a passive stun duration reduction they have, and dark iron's racial is pretty solid in general for stopping numerous things from Thunderous Roar from warrior to Deathmark from Assassination rogues etc.
Not exactly, if you'd like I can make a guide revolving around the builds I would use to mythic+ and raiding. One of the main builds focuses heavily around Earthquake and Stormkeeper > Chain Lightnings really. Earthquake will knock down a mob at least once per cast, so if you can get off multiple casts on a single mob it will significantly crowd control them ontop of doing a decent amount of damage ontop of your regular flame shock/lavaburst/chain lightnings. :)
Definitely! Just spread your flame shocks out as much as possible before primordial wave to get the most benefit of the 10% haste per lava burst proc. You'll do a ridiculous amount of damage and lava bursts!
As in the noise, or the binding? I'd love to improve my content so if it's the noise - I can figure something out to prevent that as much as possible! :)
@@Voicua Haha yea, in arenas it helps a lot having a bunch of keybindings just for being able to stop multiple people at once. It's perfectly fine to click some keybinds and what not to begin with, but I do suggest trying to get used to having some keybindings in place over time. :)
Hey! Under Options > Gameplay > Combat > Look for Scrolling Combat Text for Self, I believe if that's checked on it should appear for you. If that doesn't do it let me know!
Yea bud, it should definitely apply well in RBGs. Just make sure to fully spread your flame shocks before you primordial wave. Get that juicy juicy haste. Up to 60% increase on your primordial waves when you have Flame Shock on max targets. This makes your flame shock tick faster and will provide more lava burst procs. :)
Also - If you need help spreading Flame Shock, you could technically sacrifice Primal Elementalist for Lava Totem, it applies your Flame Shock to all targets it hits when you place it out. I don't suggest this though as Primal Ele hits like a monster truck. Also You can spread Flame Shock easy by making sure to press Earth Shock first, this will proc Surge of Power and the Surge of Power proc makes your Flame Shock spread to a nearby enemy from your target. Causing 2 targets to get hit by your flame shock per use. :) I hope this helps!
Exactly what i was looking for. Thanks for the guide fam
I hope this works! I definitely will produce some more content asap for ele :)

lmao!! i thought thats what happened.

Its all good and easy until you get trained in solo shuffle for being a shaman.

Great video i needed that! I see you casted a meteor how did you cast that i just start with ele and it never happened to me ?

What is the addon you have that says "" on your screen?
Thats in the base WoW UI.
Gameplay > Combat > Scrolling Combat Text for Self. :)
at 17:20 or so you said flame shock but i think you mean frost shock for the 20% dmg buff
Yes! I'm super sorry about that - 1000% meant to say Frost Shock for the Flux Melting :D
Why does all the pros use Electrified shocks instead of Flux Melting?
Hey! I found ele unkillable in shuffle :( really strong spec once u face good Ele
Its insanely tanky if they rotate their CDs properly for sure!
Thx, I wos looking for pvp Guide. One question what is a talent with this meteor ? cant find any
Meteor is from the Primal Elementalist talent. Your Fire Elemental turns into a Primal Fire Elemental with the talent, and it gains access to the ability, "Meteor" - You can make a macro to:
