They've been doing a bunch of "What 'X' might mean" and "Things you might X" purples lately. I think they're good sorts of category, although I haven't come up with an effective strategy for figuring them out.
Perfect Connections! I got it too but I had no idea about the purple definition. I knew a mouse and a remote have similar functions but I have never clicked my heels because I have never wanted to go to Kansas. Excellent Mini. Very slow for me. MCAT was my first guess for the doc exam but I don't know legal abbreviations. I tried every letter in place of the A. Then I re-checked everything and eventually realized that "Cowboy career" must have a wrong letter. I didn't know; Beyoncé is not my genre. Hard perfect Strands! I got it too.
Purple was clever today, I didn't think of it. And for medieval, in my head I always say it to myself as 'MEDie-val', deliberately pronouncing it like the spelling

Baloney is the less common spelling of bologna.
We don't have attorneys in the UK except for the attorney general.
My first guess for 2 across was “toilets”
Medieval- like MEDIcal EVALuation

I thought when people say "load of baloney" I thought they meant bologna LOL
Using pie to mean pizza is not something I've heard on the west coast. I think of it as a New York thing.

I've seen atty for attorney but not att
Not able to read the across clues!
