    1:24 EVERY skinchanger or inventory changer is client sided and no one will be able to see those skins in actual game.
    If you can see his skins in the lobby - he uses inventory changer, if he were to use skinchnager you wouldn't see his skins.
    There is also a cheat funciton that shares your skin configuration with other cheaters (that use the same cheat) via voice packets or through cheat provider's servers but its a difrent topic

    • @jotjoy
      @jotjoy 25 дней назад

      skin changers work in the lobby and everyone can see them as its not server until you join a match

    • @im-banned
      @im-banned 25 дней назад +1

      @@jotjoy You're talking about inventory changers.
      Inventory changer adds the skin to your client sided inventory and because lobbies are (partially) client sided and the player agent + held item (skin) is send by player + you can see the skin in buy menu.
      Skin changer on the other hand "simply" changes the skin that you can see while holding the gun, it doesn't add it to the players inventory so it will never be visible in buy menu or game lobby.

    I have reported probably 50 scammer profiles sending me friend invites, i accept one from time to time to check up on what their scam is, usually it involves them wanting you to play a CS tournament with them and they send u a third party website link to sign up. Just never click any links people send you on steam, and don't go to random peoples discords either unless you are going to be extremely careful.

    • @mr.someone5679
      @mr.someone5679 28 дней назад

      Thank you for your service man! I once got scammed with one of those third party websites, it was a fake esl page, it had sponsors and everything and it came in a notification from an "esl bot" as i was watching a tournament so i though it was legit, because esl was giving out prizes to the viewers. And i remember thinking it was legit because they didnt ask for my password, but for my number, so it was a fake steam support tab to recover password. Seconds later i was logged out of steam and the steam account was changed to russia. That was in 2020. I thankfully recovered my steam account and no skins were stolen because they were very cheap i suppose, it took a couple days to recover the account.

    Many pro players have their accounts public and if they ever made the playoffs of a CS major, they will absolutely have a collectible trophy. That's one way to verify, especially for many of the big name pro players.

  • @tObito687
    @tObito687 27 дней назад

    a good way to know if it is a scammer is if the profile highlights the fact that theyre a pro player. most pro steam accounts arent even named after them. like s1mples account being named Akkerman for example. another good way to verify is if they have any tournament awards in their inventory (given that they actually won the tournaments obviously)

    I remember back in 2022, I almost lost my account. Glad my friend told me that somehow I messaged them so I checked and disable all account access and changed my password immediately. The scammer asked for a vote so I vote but it wasn't a vote. So the moral of the story, they use your kindness for their gain, so don't ever do the same mistake as I do. I know I'm dumb and fkn r-tard for do not think that this might be a scam but hey human learn from their mistakes. Good for me to through that shit tbh. Imagine what if the scam hits me but instead of CS skins, they took my whole savings? I would unalive myself which is really worse. But it isn't as bad as sticking to Valorant as your main FPS game.

    i've seen once guy on a casual match with m4a1-s full kato 14 titan holo dlore and many other skins, he had new account no info given, then after 2 days he got banned, so there ARE skin changers that are not client sided that work in-game not only in lobby ohne :)

    ultra cap about skinchangers. cs2 inventory changer does show up on lobby and not in game. if the scammer has public inv youll see them rocking bfk sapphire and have 0 items in inv.
    valve just made it harder for us to spot fake players with the 7 days invisible items bullhsit.

    5:36 "They want you to download faceit ac and then it's a RAT"... Well Faceit AC is a RAT, so you already have one, same with Vanguard, EAAC, and so on, Safe AC is VAC, Warden and the one Rockstar uses. I can't think of more, but there probably are some safe ones i've not said, but these are the 3 big ones.

    That about skinchangers is not true. New CS is broken about skins. You can literally have skinchanger, and the players can see your skins even in lobby (but its not working in game). I´ve seen that before. So yeah..
