Hi Jewelry Enthusiast! As long as you paid less than the NGC value, I believe it's a good buy! Plus you're always going to pay more for fractional gold, and proofs are more rare! 😎I've subscribed to your channel!
Personally, I think it boils down to you have a 1/10 ounce of gold there and when it comes down to it, you'll get what a 1/10 ounce of gold is worth at the time. There are coin collectors and there are stackers. You are on the fence between the two. In the end, buying as close to spot will pay off. Anything else is a risk.
Well as a stacker is your goal to collect coins or buy bullion coins at lowest cost above spot? I’be collected coins since I was 6 as my dad had collected since he was young, though there wasn’t big grading companies and grading varies from coin shop to coin shop. I have a mix of graded/ungraded as a result. I also have some bullion coins, mostly non-graded as that serves a different purpose, which is to have some precious metals as a reserve. I don’t buy graded bullion coins as they are not what I consider ‘collectible’ but to each their own… some are into different grading themes like early release, 1st strike… some only want MS70 or PS70… or engraver signed… blah blah blah… reality is bullion is bullion if stacking and don’t pay a high premium. If you collect graded bullion, just understand you may not recoup your cost
Dude, I'd be happy with ANY gold coins! Personally I would think the graded coins would carry a higher value. Dont you have to pay a lot to have a coin graded?
It is all about preference. Buy what you like.

Its all about what you like my friend. Beautiful coin!
As long as your investing is all that counts. Nice work.
A little of this, a little of that. You are doing it right.
Thats a beautiful coin. Westpoint and proofed. Nice!
Based on APMEX prices I would say you are good.
the W mint and proof mark make it worth more.
I love the 1/10 ouncers. I do not have slabbed ones.

Wow those are beautiful! I wish I could buy gold coins like that. That one coin is like a car payment for me lol
Bars, coins and rounds, be diverse. Nice choice.
I do both as well, bars, generic rounds & slabbed.

I think it is wise to have a mixed bag of goodies.
