- Hey guys -Sorry this video is a little blurry in some sections... I am traveling to national parks and working in a mobile art studio. I was having some trouble with the lighting/recording equipment today.

This reminds me of my cousin's farm in Iowa. They grow fields of sunflowers. More than the cornfield crop. Just so vibrant and happy. Love this.

Love your painting! Thank you for doing a talking tutorial, I am a beginner in Acrylic Painting and I usually do Watercolor, but I've been painting little murals on my Camper's Kitchen cabinets and I wanted to do a sunflower field. I have a hard time following tutorials where the painter does not talk and just paints. I really appreciate you writing down all of the colors in the description that you used and naming them as you mix your colors. Your tutorial is thorough and easy to follow. 😊

Hi Stoof! Beautiful sunflower painting! I liked watching your process of how you created the flowers and the leaves. I just finished my yellow flower art challenge yesterday. I found out about it a little late. Thant's funny but understandable how your paint bottles reacted to the high altitude air pressure.

Great seeing you in this challenge. I’m in the challenge too. Wonderful tutorial. Lol....I thought I might be doing something wrong the way my palette becomes a mess while painting but I see your painting palette gets messy too. Do you ever run out of room on your palette?
oh yep i am a messy painter and my palettes always get totally full of paint blobs. i run out of room and end up working in an old paint blob that has dried when I paint with arylics. When I use oils I need to get out a second palette sometimes.

I wish you would not fast forward sections, it is important for us who are trying to follow your tutorial. So many bits are missed, like how do you shade the flowers facing away.
thanks for your input Kitty! I create many tutorials in real time, and receive comments asking for shortened tutorials on those videos. I compromised by making some tutorials real time and some sped up in sections. Sorry you wish this one was in real time. I can make a real time sunflower tutorial in the future.
