    Wonderful tutorial ❤️ Well done. I thought measuring the thread length with a body part went along with measuring block and strips with body part, lol ❤😂. Thank you for such a precise, clear direction of doing this block .❤️🇨🇦

    I’ve tried this after watching you demo it at the FoW 2023. Love the method, much easier than it looks! Thanks Julie-Ann

    Thank you so much your demonstrating this form of quilting. Everyone who sees them seems compelled to pick them up and examine them more closely. It has given me the opportunity to do some hand sewing/quilting that I have wanted to do for years and I am excited to share your tutorial with some younger gals that have shown interest. Thanks so much!

    Watching from North Carolina in the States, and appreciate so much this excellent video. It’s very clear how to make this square which I find refreshing after so much measuring and so many rulers in my learning to quilt. Thank you!!

    Hello. I just recently saw something in an email about this Manx technique and my curiosity got the better of me. So I went on You Tube and found you, and I'm glad I did. I'm in the process of putting together my very 1st Manx log cabin block and I am totally enjoying it. So much so, that I'm already planning projects that I can use this for. First off will probably be a new cover for my big sewing machine. I guess that could be considered ironic right? Anyway, thank you for the great tutorial. (BTW, that photo there next to this comment is my husband bc all our accounts are in his name.)

    What would they historically have used to starch the base fabric?

    • @whitegeckocraftlounge483
      @whitegeckocraftlounge483  4 года назад

      i don't know to be honest! they used to make strach with a flour and water base but not sure otherwise

    Just found this site ty so much really informative question could I sew this on a sewing machine rather than hand sewing

    • @whitegeckocraftlounge483
      @whitegeckocraftlounge483  4 года назад

      you can, but its a little more complicated - theres lots of ends to sew in due to having to stop 1/4" away from each end of the strips
