- Prior to Grand-Final, we attended a press conference with Ireland's 2024 representative - Bambie Thug.
Cork-born Bambie Thug is a force to be reckoned with, a completely independent artist who has amassed over 270K monthly listeners via their unique, self-styled “Ouija Pop”. Bambie is also prolific songwriter with amassed streams of 60 million on music written for other artists of varying genres, (Cassyette, Kidbrunswick, Fabich, Fika and more), instrumentals in some of the UKs biggest nu-gen hits (Dear Goth, Petrichor, 4am) and inclusion on HBO’s Sex And The City reboot Just Like That.

Step by step I am diving into that aqward 'behind the scenes' athmosphere in relation with the struggle of thé singers that dared to oppose or boycott Israel And Its Singer. Ireland winning is the only thing that can even attempt to correct the awful shit show of 2024 ESC. Ireland would not host the contest without major changes made going forward for sure. 2. Australia and Morocco have been (or are) contestants in this show (at some point) and they’re not European either

I know it must be hard since they have invested money into this and are contractually obligated to perform (maybe a fine is involved if they don't?). But if they teamed up with all the other pro-Palestine supporters in Eurovision and boycotted the show together, it would have sent a much more impactful message!
