wow, what a strong opening! They built up tension and delivered it firmly, slaughtering half your crew but leaving enough alive to give hope..the one thing i'm curious about is why the necromorphs were stabbing the core...they didn't stirke me as intelligent enough to tactically destroy a ship on purpose, buuut maybe they are! Great shooting as well, one thing I found is i'm counting your shots, and it takes more bullets currently to kill an enemy then you get from the ammo pick up from the kill. which means in theory, scavenging is necessary (or alot of melee use) long term? we will see! :D
The way the Leapers get around reminds me of this film Freaks from 1932, which used actual circus Freaks & 1 of them was this guy who was born with no legs & gets around with his arms. That what the movement of the Leapers remind me of.

Been watching this play-though and got it for free on PS5 as a PS Plus and I’m on the edge of my seat right now but I heard that there are some people who think this remake is rubbish and is not the same as the original but I say to those people can shut up as the remake stays true to the original but with some TLC and with an intensity director to really make the game feel more scary with hidden enemies or being plunged into total darkness.
I am kind of iffy in terms of Isaac actually speaking to others, I was hoping Isaac would just be the silent protagonist like in the original while giving other characters to interact with each other and let Kendra have a raging fit against Hammond for crash-landing inside the Ishimura up to her having hostilities and trust issues within both Hammond and Isaac discovering info about the Marker. I am going to miss Kendra complaining to Hammond: Kendra: Power's dead?! Hammond: Then reroute the damn power.....sigh...if we can all cooperate here then we can make it out alive!
The frame times are inconsistent in this game, so I used Rivatuner Statistics Server to lock the game to 60 FPS. It is always better to use RTSS to lock the frame rate, rather than the in-game setting.I was able to achieve perfect frame times this way. However, there are still stutters at certain points in the levels, when the game is loading a new area. There is no way to avoid that, unfortunately.
yo i just realised, after you crash land on the ishimura the annauncer is speaking in english and either italian or spanish... kinda neat little detail imo.
Man it's horrible what the Church of Unitology did to Issac. Brainwashed his mother into signing over their estate, and donating her and her husbands bodies. Left him all alone wirh only Nicole. Then things just get worse from there. All because of the Church.
Game literally is the definition of, "copy my homework, but just change a couple things around." I'm glad I didn't buy it. With how similar it is, might as well just play the original.

The health system of the neceromorphs is starting 2 catch on because in Dead Island 2, they also have 1 simply called the Gore System.

How do you tell if the bodies on the ground are necromorphs playing dead?
Necromorphs who are pretending to be dead are always in the same area, so you know where to expect them once you played through the game :)
