Just bought the same truck yesterday . Is a maroon and black and im in love with it already . A lot of fun to drive this one had 2 owners only has 75k original miles on it was well taken care of just been sitting for a little . Has a nice lift snd bigger tires witch I like about it a lot, still rides super nice. I missed my old Jeep wrangler but I can put my tools in the bed in this one it wasn’t cheap but with it barely being drivin I think it was a good buy
1988 was the only year the Ford Ranger XLT had the Ford oval logo on the tailgate as well as having the 1983 style front end grille shared with the LTD Crown Victoria (although in that same year, that model changed its grille so that the Ford logo was now in center instead of to the right). In 1989, the Ranger and Bronco II followed suit in updating their front ends to have the Ford oval logo in the center.
Beautiful truck, man. I used to have one just like it, one thing different I noticed is the 4x4, mine had the push button automatic which I was not a fan of. I sold it ten years ago when I bought something more economical for college commute. I should have never listened to my dad. Do you still have it?
@wranglersnmt that's what i figured. I noticed the adjustable headrest and Rangers didn't have adjustable headrest. They look better then the originals though.
