    I always hear how ac/dc songs are sooo easy, but Angus' solos are hard as hell to duplicate imo. This is the best attempt I've seen so far, and this is the fourth vid I've watched for this solo. Hats off to Angus and Malcolm Young for making two guitars sound like one, and complimenting each other so well.

    This song has been always labeled as a beginners level. I play for 20+ yrs, many harder stuff like VH, Nuno, Friedman etc and I cant disagree more. Young brothers solos and riffs here are top notch and not that easy, many hand stretchs and precise playing.

    • @677moonpie
      @677moonpie 9 лет назад +61

      Marcus Vinnas I agree, most people who say AC/DC is easy are simply not playing it right. Simplicity in reality is very hard to actually pull off. Most people use shortcuts to play AC/DC and it just takes away from it in my opinion. The Young brothers are very underrated, especially Malcolm.

    • @KingTabor
      @KingTabor 9 лет назад +21

      677moonpie maybe their rawness lends to this misperception.

    • @Ruefus
      @Ruefus 9 лет назад +15

      Marcus Vinnas Agreed. The riff is *not* easy to get right. Their genius is in the simplicity. People wrongly equate that with easy. Far from it.

    • @tond3244
      @tond3244 9 лет назад +6

      Marcus Vinnas A lot of people also screw up the timing for the chorus of the song. But I do think that can be a good thing because it can get beginners to think about rhythm early on.

    • @JimmySlacksack
      @JimmySlacksack 9 лет назад +22

      Marcus Vinnas 100% agree, even the into riff with that little pentatonic run NOBODY can play it and make it sound the way Angus does, as for the solo's yep dont get me started, the vibrato is unique, phrasing is impeccable and very intricate, anyone who says its easy will be shown up for an idiot when they attempt to play it!

    the very best of the covers of this solo
    probably the best there ever will be:
    -tune and sound are just crazily on point
    -additional notes in the beginning kinda make the solo even better than it was before
    -he hits every note just perfect to the beat
    (-tabs on the bottom of the video, making it easier to learn also)
    so yeah, thanks David

    GREAT COVER!!
    Imitators don't have the same feel and groove usually. Angus is a very Bluesy player and has this very fast vibrato going on most of the time combined with lots of string bending. He likes pulloffs as well and effortlessly plays them all over up and down the neck. Take that into account he doesn't use a pedal board and hide behind effects. It's all him and his raw talent out front driving the song. Also he is a very active guitar player and moving around the entire time while never losing his sense of timing and groove. Not easy at all and it is easier just to shred and use lots of 2-handed guitar technique tricks with a pedal board.
