- In this video I am going to be doing my first impressions of Terre D’Hermes Eau Givree a New Mens Fragrance Release in 2022. I will also be comparing it to my scent of the day Terre Dhermes Eau Tres Fraiche and letting you know which one is the better option.

Eau Givree is a everything a classy freshie should be. Very refined citrusy fragrance perfect for summer. I love it. When I tried Eau Tres Fraiche I personally got a BO vibe off my skin, and that was from the opening through the drydown.
I can see what ur saying about the eau Tres Fraiche. But I’m more focused on the florals which is why I can’t do it. But ya the eau Givree is fantastic
@@FragranceDOUD I swear it has cummin which is not a listed note but could just be how the citrus blends in with the wood/patchouli.

I’ve only tried the 3 I mentioned and eau Intense vetiver. My Nordstroms doesn’t have the Parfum
Try Sephoras in your area might have TDH Parfum, also they started to sell some Killians but not all locations.

Eau Tres Fraiche is pure class. Awesome fragrance for day time formal wear in warm weather. Will try this one too.
Ya I know a lot of people that like EaU Tres Fraiche and I know a lot of people who love the opening and hate the floral drydown like me. That’s why when I review it I leave it open ended because I know there will be alot of people that will enjoy the florals
@@FragranceDOUD Strangely enough I have never considered it an overly floral fragrance at all. It does have geranium in the heart which I think is what u pick up on...but at no time does it overwhelm the fragrance to my nose...as I am not particularly fond of floral notes myself. It seems to me to be a perfect balance of citruses, watery notes, florals and woods to arrive at a very classy and sophisticated hot/warm weather scent. Scent is largely subjective though and maybe our sense of smell may actually differ too in terms of what we pick up as dominant scent characteristics. Thats what makes the fragrance world so interesting I guess.

For me Eau givree is the Best Buy and longer lasting for the summer. Summer vibes is good but light blue Eau intense is very similar and lasts longer

@@eddd-999 yes I mean if your looking for a high heat summer fragrance with amazing performance I don’t really think that exists. Eau Givree is one of the best for that with 5-6 hours while summer vibes is around 4-5

I got a sample. I mean, it's not bad - I really get citron, and that's about it, it feels basic to me. And it's expensive. I've also got the parfum - it's really meh.
I don’t like this house I use to I do like the OG so the new release seems interesting but I don’t see my self rocking this.
Grapefruit is there
It’s not grapefruit. It’s citron. Citron smells like a lemon/bergamot/grapefruit mixture. But it doesn’t have the heavy rindyness like light blue forever
@@FragranceDOUD I've been wearing this for the last four days, 30 to 40 minutes after initial spraying I get a prominent grapefruit note that takes over the citron and stays for a good hour or so before stepping back and the citron becomes dominant again. I did some research and multiple sources state that timur pepper smells of grapefruit. I've personally never tried real timur pepper but I am inclined to believe that it may be true.
@@m373x to me the grapefruit smell is from the citron because citron in fragrances comes off sometimes like a zesty grapefruit lemon mox
@@FragranceDOUD it's possible, I can only detect it in that short window in the mid which makes me suspicious it may be linked to the pepper. Either way it's a nice development on my skin and I enjoy wearing this a lot. Your review is spot on.
