I’ve been waiting for a program like this for months. NYPD delivered! You show the viewer what your job entails, as you continue to protect our city and keep us safe 24/7. You also make us aware of the programs which brings cops and youth together, forming a life lasting bond. Thank you so much for all you do to keep crime out of our city. Please be safe. Great Documentary NYPD, please keep the episodes coming.
I am a supporter of Policeoffthecuff Podcast run by retired Sgt Bill Cannon and Detective Phil Grimaldi. They support their Brothers in Blue from the NYPD constantly 💙. They are very disappointed with the DA's and Judges who keep releasing the perpetrator's. It appears that the handcuffs have been put on the police, instead of the criminal's.

NYPD is not bad at all. Big city cops are much better, much less ridiculous about small shit, and actually deserve the money and positive credit they get. No problem with NYPD.
Small town cops are the worst. Weird grudges, nitpick low level shit bc they have nothing to do, are gossiping queen, peaked in high school, jock idiots and have egos the size of Jupiter bc of the status & power it affords in their small suburban fiefdoms.

tennnessee v. garner does not apply to PO Allen because of the totality of the situation:
    1) He gave multiple commands to drop the knife
    2) the 911 call provided info that the perp was armed with a knife
    3) the cops can clearly see that he had a knife in his hands
    4) the perp clearly posed bodily harm to the officer or others:
    a) hostage situation
    b) slashing bystanders
    c) slashing the PO, WHICH DID OCCUR
The cops had every legal right to shoot the perp on the back. That chase shouldn't have lasted that long

So you’re in a foot pursuit of a man with a knife and you go less lethal? 🤔🤔

you have to understand, we as officers get ridiculed for every single thing we do. So unfortunately we think a little too much and sometimes it cost us our nose.

We need police like this in London. London's Metropolitain Polices priority is not to catch criminals - it's not to offend people when catching criminals.

These select cops definitely get treated way different by the brass and have a different set of rules than the rest on the force. Let's talk about it....

I hope this helps increasing the hiring for more officers. The one officer who was slashed across the face is a warrior. I have seen this in my years of the military once and awhile but as a law enforcement officer it’s a rarity. He kept his composure, and remained professional.
I can’t believe the suspect was not shot. Unfortunately, this incident probably would not have happened if officers were not concerned with having to use lethal force. The whole taser being deployed is mind-blowing. That bad guy was superrrrr lucky. Wishing the officer a speedy recovery, his nose healed quite well already.
Hopefully, it doesn't affect his breathing. Mederna might help some of the scaring but it already looks good as.far as healing I'm surprised.
