Hey NL, just in case u wanted some anecdotal experiences as well as actual conditions for a ultra secret room with Red Key 1) The Ultra Secret Room can NOT be adjacent to a room on the map 2) This is purely anecdotal, but I’m fairly confident that the Ultra Secret Room needs to be adjacent to a red room that’s adjacent to a special room. I.e, it’s best to use the red key in a special room like a cursed room, item room, or shop. Not too many conditions but hope this helps if ur still confused about how it works
It definitely does not need to be by a special room. Those are usually good places to check since they often have 3 valid red room locations (and thus potentially two possible Ultra Secret Room locations), but that is by no means necessary. I personally dislike using it on Curse Rooms in particular since that makes you go through extra curse doors.

"two adjacent red rooms" is a confusing description. NL is proof of that. The most clear way is to use the word diagonally somewhere, since everyone knows what that means. It's easy to visualize. Agreed that my explanation is only partially correct thogh.
I heard that the David & Goliath historically wouldn't have been much of a underdog story and actually an highly expected outcome. Goliath would have been some idiot with gigantism. Very slow and not at all tactical, while David was an expert slingshotter that just took him out at a distance.

I think one of the ways to set the next character for random streaks is going to random org and there pick random between 1 and 2, 1 means next character will be A side, 2 - B. But someone has to make a mod so it could be convenient of course.

Red Key is too much to explain in a Twitch comment For anyone wondering, the Ultra Secret room tries first to generate off of two Red Rooms that are themselves directly connected to the main floor. Basically, that means they like to be on corners. The more corners off regular rooms you can check the better. Red Rooms also have the same rules as secret rooms in that they can't be beside the Boss room or skinny rooms, so ignore corners off those in your search. You also can't directly open regular Secret rooms with the Red Key, so if you walk up to where a Red door outline should be and there isn't one, and there are no Boss rooms, skinny rooms or rooms with inaccessible borders beside that space, you've found a Secret room. Ultra Secret room treats other Secret rooms like the main floor and can generate off their corners too. If anyone reading this has anything to add or correct, I'll edit this later.
Ultra Secret Rooms can indeed spawn off of (super) secret rooms. I know their walls are considered valid for red rooms, and I'm seeing several guides that include them as something to consider. There's also some images showing one that's off an Ultra Secret Room

you can look at the logs if you want, I'm not saying there wasn't anyone explaining it correctly but there's also just a flood of people going "??????????" and explaining it inadequately like, "it's always diagonal". It is what it is, if I wanted to know how to use it properly I'd just look it up on the wiki, but I'm also trying to be entertaining on the stream and no one wants to talk about Goliath being 5'6" if the streamer made a mistake in the game
