After watching several videos and reading reviews about the resorts in Varadero, I decided to spend my holidays at the Selectum Family Hotel. I'm disappointed, because NOBODY who posted videos on RUclips warned about the problem of the beach being full of rocks, and they are big rocks, impossible to step on to swim in the sea. Furthermore, the buffet food is cold, the fruit juice is artificial, the pillow on the bed is very thin and low. So, avoid the Selectum hotel because there are better resort options with beaches that are easily accessible for swimming.
I’m at this resort right now and all you did was lie or get paid by the resort!! They don’t change the towels out a bird shit/poop on my arm at the buffet!! They serve the Russians first! Room doors don’t close properly. Wifi does not work barely on iPhones! The beach is nice can’t down unless you have water shoes cause of the rocks! The VIP is 33US/ person for the day that $100 Canadian for breakfast lunch and dinner! People reserve all the beach and good pool areas in the sun by 6am!!! They run out of plates and cutlery in the buffet very fast and don’t clean the tables fast enough to find a place to sit! The dress code is a joke at the a la carts restaurants since one girl was in her pjs and the other was wearing a sports bra!! Next time you make a video acknowledge the actual truth and facts before posting a video 100% disgusted and uncomfortable and unsatisfied with the results we experienced and I have all the pics and videos to prove my statement!!!

All the rooms are all inclusive.If you want suite or junior suite you have to pay extra
