Betrayed trust, gossip, backstabbing, lied to, in pain. Many of these things felt impossible to let go of. They would constantly be in my mind. The day I was willing to forgive I was free. It's never the person we are holding a grudge that is imprisoned, it's us. When we forgive we unshackle ourselves as we breathe in the fresh air of freedom.
