I have seen a few cards like this before but now that I've seen the work put into making something like this, I have a new appreciation for them. This is really cool! ♥
My mom use to do this with art prints dunno its Japanese name but it was called 3D decoupage. So far its the same technique. I like what its done here.
The idea is super cool, but i think the outcome has a little too much depth. I don't know, where it's from or how is it supposed to look like, but considering this is a card, i would want it to lay at least somewhat flat. If you wouldn't have added those thick foam pieces, i think it would have turned out twice as cool
I guess its from something called "future card buddy fight" or at least that's what google says. from the video just seems he's making a more pop-up/3D version of the card.
