12-Oct-2018 - first listen for me. I literally watched all three series plus the movie over the weekend. Oh, and I totally agree about the combo vibrato towards the end. Gorgeous. And how rare is it STILL to have two women duetting a romantic song.

It’s even more special when members of the lgbt community play lgbt characters. It’s all good seeing it represented on screen but it’s more meaningful coming from people who can really relate to what the viewers are going through. I love how they like talk just by looking to each other and how their voices harmonize and also love their voices and the cover. I love everything about this.

GREAT arrangement, really nice accompaniment. I love each person's distinctive part and then the final harmony verse. Love the callbacks to each of the show's characters in the vocal styles. Love the descant parts sounding like sirens luring each other. Love Elise's velvety warm bourbon tones with the underlying strength. Love Natasha's initially more astringent tone, dynamic range, vibrato and breath control - the flavour from her is like a phenol-rich Laphroaig. The harmony verse, again!, and the fantastic way in which Elise's tone strengthens to meet Natasha's and they both gradually soften, the parts intertwining beautifully.
This song, as is, without massive amounts of production, is literally the best duet between two women I've ever heard. It's 2018 - how many romantic duets do we hear between women, even now? OUT women who've done such a lot for representation of our queer communities in their "yeah, this is what we are - there are so many of us everywhere - deal with it" kind of ways.
