When you consider that his lore is that he wants to die in battle but effectively can't, playing an Olaf that all in's every enemy he sees is probably the most correct kind of Olaf to be. 😂
So the lore i remember is he was told his future and the seer who told him his future told hum he would die in his sleep so he continuously fights and never sleeps. tho i kay have just made this up idk im really high.
@@mythilicar Olaf main here. You’re almost correct but the Seer never told him he would die in his sleep. He was just told he would die peacefully. Which is considered a cowardly way to die to his people. So he does sleep, LOL. But constantly seeks death in a glorious battle till the end 🤓
Hate to be a broken record, but, since Olaf's W goes on cool down during its duration, if you had built Quickblades instead of IE then I think you would have it permanently up like Tristana's Q
I suggested that exact build for when he did that video before IE and Quickblades became mythics, I was a little disappointed he didn’t do it again here, since it not only makes your W practically permanent, it also lets you spam axes and E
@@IyeViking Quickblades is an unusual item. The cool down reducing ability encourages something that otherwise is a bad idea: fighting when you don't have your abilities. It's kind of a niche pick for champs that have abilities that go on CD while the effect continues. This covers buffs like Tristana and Olaf and (debatably) debilitating abilities like stuns and blinds. I'd like to see it more on Graves, Quinn, TF, heck even Teemo. Otherwise only champs that have double-taps like MF, Lucian, Akshan can get any sensible use out of it

i push for ravenous hydra first, then eclipse, black cleaver, static shock, blade of the ruined king
melts full teams if they bunch up
Once killed a Jhin in a literal second with this build: BoRK, Swifties, Eclipse, Ravenous, Death's Dance, Cleaver(Or Hullbreaker probably Hullbreaker, I like split pushing). Runes: Either Conqueror or Lethal Tempo. Ran him down under Inhib tower

Day 23 of asking for the tankiest Rakan toplane build with:
Sunfire for wave clear, Jak'Sho, Fimbul Winter into Dark Seal which works really well with Rakan for some AP (Can be bought a little earlier too) then situational items based on teamcomp either more tanky or some more ap/utility (Demonic Embrace has good stats and passive helps stack up Jak'Sho and keep the stacks, Nashor's is good cause It helps you proc Sunfire and most importantly Rakan's passive shield + Shield Bash so you will auto-attack people a lot, Mandate is cheap and can be really useful too)
For runes:
Aftershock, Shield Bash, Conditioning, Revitalize or Unflinching
Eyeball and Ultimate Hunter (Consider taking attack speed rune for same reasons as Nashors plus It's good for last hitting)
This build excelsl in ganks and teamfights cause you have a lot of resistances with Jak'Sho and you keep getting a lot of shields with passive and Fimbul Winter and healing with Q and It's all more effective with resistances
Essence Reaver would have been great in this build, Collector late game is way less useful, especially when you did have a mana problem.

Remember, 100% ceit chance nearly doubles your life steal 😏
Can you try AP shen if you have not? I think the new items could be promising if you just go Heartsteel and the rest are AP items.

Actually going W first is better for Crit Olaf, because Axe refreshes anyway after pickup and the lv1 shred is decent enough for longer trades, but faster W means A LOT in those long battles.

Ages ago there was a funny ability haste gragas build that let you basically perma stun with e, i feel like you could revive that nonsense in 2v2v2v2 thanks to augments giving absurd haste, and if you get lucky enough to get earthquake augment its easy gg
At 2 enemy turret plates take the harold aline and insta ur tower with it so u can side lane and get tons of kills from bot lane

Quick blades with W max is also strong. As long as you're in combat, your W is permanently active.
Quickblades is so much fun on olaf when it works

The problem with crit Olaf is that his damage falls off late game, so eventually his auto's do more damage than his skills.
Remember kids, zwag may have said he was gonna proxy when 3 kills up, but don't proxy winning matchups, You deny push potential by simply winning fights in lane and if you proxy you risk giving your shutdown even more.
He proxys to int so they dont surrender
