He won’t get addicted to Hockey. He’s going for two reasons: 1) Game 7 of Stanley Cup between Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers, and 2) Gives him any kind of reason to be in South Florida, and tries to avoid NYC as much as possible even though weather is nice here, cuz Stephen A doesn’t like being in ESPN studio in New York. He won’t admit it, but he talks about LA and Miami 24/7, and not appreciative of NYC, his roots.

But, lately especially over past few months, there are certain hot takes of his I disagree with, and I feel he goes way too overboard with criticism, even when he’s not right. There’s too many topics to list, but from 2012-2023 I agreed with 95-98% if things he said with all his takes, that number has decreased now to where I agree with his takes 80-85% of time over past 12 months.

I don’t watch much hockey but I have been to some live games and they’re incredibly fun. It’s like soccer with the pace of an NBA game going back and forth. It’s an awesome sport that just needs to have more attention brought to it.
