    At 2:08 the 2nd chain has 11 hydrogen instead of 12. There should be one more hydrogen with the left carbon.

    better way to learn DBE ( I call it DU)
    ITS
    (C +1) - (H + X - N)/2
    WHERE
    C= Carbn
    H = hydrogen
    X = Halogens
    N = Nitrogens
    Edit :
    If DU = 0 => 0 pi bonds (i.e. only sigma bonds)
    If DU = 1 => 1 pi bonds
    If DU = 2 => 2 pi bonds
    If DU > 4 => Benzene or its derivative

    Ethers : only metamerism no position isomerism
    Functional isomersim
    1. Alcohol, Ether
    2. Carboxylic, Ester
    3. Aldehyde, Ketone, Unsaturated alcohol, unsaturated ether
    4. 1⁰, 2⁰, 3⁰ Amines
    5. Cyanides, Isocyanides
    6. Nitro, Nitrite, Amino Acids
    7. Diene, Allene, Alkyne
    8. Aromatic alcohol, Phenol, Ether
    DBE= 1/2 summation [ n(v-2)] +1
    n = no of atoms
    v= valency of element

    you really kept your promise, the whole chapter in literally 30 mins, totally enjoyed, and everything is so clear now. the teachers at my coaching centre took 7-8 long lectures to complete yet none from the class could understand a thing, but now i like chem guys! happiest person today is surely me, thanks

    Simple and easy method for DBE
    👇
    Formula:
    DBE= C - H/2 +N/2 +1
    Example
    C4H8
    4- 8÷2+1 (No nitrogen here so it will be direct +1)
    4-4+1= 1 (means one =double bond)

    At 5:48 sec you did say that ketone is a position isomer whereas ether is not. How? I can not understand that what is the difference between the structural formulas? That you said like that. In ex of ketone also main chain is inconsistent and same with ether than how ether isn't a position isomer but ketone is?
