- Which is better thrifting in England or thrifting in the US? We’re back thrifting for resale in the US. Today we take you to the thrift store in Riverton. We tried to be really selective about what we bought since we still have so much from England.

Those round boxes would have been hat boxes if they were old ones.
That was a nice little haul! nothing wrong with that, its just as good as England, just different stuff and England was a little bit older. equally as good❤

I love watching y'all thrift no matter whether in England or USA... it's all good in my book. Zeb should have gotten a cart...lol .. just like a man .. lol...the clock is the awesome find this week...it's so cool and I really like the dresser as well. Great finds this week .. y'all just need to get caught up on all your thrifted finds to clear space but i know how it is... I'm over packed with stuff myself... 😬😬😬

LOVE IT ALL! England has beautiful things, all the crockery, copper, pictures, old world charm...but no carts!! Here in states it seems easier, less work, but oh so fun!!

I like your thrifting in the US only bc it’s so much less work for you! You get a cart. You have your SUV. And you don’t have to box it & mail it home. 👍

The thrifting here seems more repurposing in what yall find. LOVED watching the trips you've made to England..love the antiques and unique you've found, the history of where been. This last trip, I thought was absolute his best one so far!!

Fun video. Those round boxes are very similar to what my mother called her hat boxes (when ladies wore hats) however I couldn't tell how large they were. Usually hatboxes were not made out of wood but covered in stripe or floral paper??? or cloth or something.

Jami, you look really pretty in that rose color. The US(in Lehi specifically) is great, but hands down England is way better.

I've done both. It depends on what you are searching for. New England compared to mid-west versus California. They are all different, which makes it so fun.
I can only comment as someone who lives in England and thrifts here. I have NEVER had the use of a cart/ trolley when Ive been thrifting, as our shops are not big enough! If we did, I dread to think what stuff would be in my house! 😂😮

Don't paint the clock. Its beautiful. Love it. Them cheese boxs make great end tables or display tir tables..I wish i could post pictures. Look it up.

I cannot imagine the cost of traveling and shipping your finds from England would be so expensive that the price you would have to charge for things would be cost-prohibitive to your customers. I wish we had a DI thrift store in our area in Texas because y'all get such amazing prices. We never find items like you do at the prices you find them.
They’ve explained in the England videos that they do make a profit after all the expenses.

I prefer the U.S. Watching you thrift in England gave me anxiety. Too crowded, have to carry things so far, I got terrified someone would come around a curve on a narrow road and hit you. I had to keep reminding myself you survived to edit the video.
In other news, I had a work call to a pathology lab in Lehi this week. That never happened before. I'm in Indianapolis.
I used to live in Salt Lake City. Why don't you guys shop at some of the Mom and Pop thrift shops. Or second hand stores?
Like antique stores? There aren’t too many mom and pop thrift stores that I know of.

I'm hoping you can answer a question for me. I'm new at flipping furniture. I'm painting a small 3 drawer dresser with chalk paint and then I want to apply IOD transfers. Do I " seal coat " the paint before I apply the transfer or after? Thank you in advance for your help.
Depends on what paint your using. If it’s a chalky matte paint I like to do it before and after. Let it dry overnight before you put the IOD transfer on after sealing it.
Zeb, if I may call you zeb I'm a 70 three-year-old, great Grandma. If you take, i'm sure you know, take some clay and fill that heart in and send it off and just put something else there like a knob or something or a decal, you can figure it out

My favorite thrifting so far has been in the UK! I've found such awesome clothes all over the UK. In Wales I found a tajine that was like a mini crockpot and a game called Twerk-Pong. You bounce the balls off your booty 😂 No, I didn't buy either and yes I have regrets. My husband is a giant and British AND he is also a Saints fan. I'm from Maine and am a Pats fan. I actually found a Brady Uniform Jersey with NFL Price tags on it in HIS SIZE for £10 In Liverpool. Best deal ever. He won't wear it out of the house but oh well 😂
