Hi Rich, New subber here from Clearwater. Since we don't have much structure off Gulf Coast of Florida for quite a ways, I assume you are on the east coast? I'd never ask you to give away any of your spots as I have plenty, on my own side. But I am curious if this is a new video or not (December?) and what the water temp is? There are exceptions, but over here, most of the big female snook head back inland after the summer spawn, so I was surprised to so you catching them offshore in December! Thanks For listing your gear, it's very impressive! That's how I am too! I probably spend more than I need to, but the way I look at it, it's for life! My son fishes also, so it will all be his one day! Keep that great content coming! I look forward to checking out what I've been missing!
Hey there thanks for your interest in a fishing trip! You can book a charter and get in touch with me here www.fishfishaholiccharters.com I hope to get you out fishing soon!
I did keep a Snook in this video for thanksgiving dinner. To keep a snook it has to be between 28” and 32” and you can only keep one a day. The other fish I caught. Jack Crevalle are just a by catch and are caught more for sport than table fare. I really wanted the Snook this day.
What an awesome video had me on the edge of my seat. Thank you for leaving the website for squid trex. I hadn't heard of them until your video. I've lived in Pompano bch for 56 years and love fishing for snook. If you ever feel like doing a ride along I'd love to go out with you. I'm by Hillsboro and Boca Raton inlets. Thanks for the info and video.😊
Rich, since you save videos and release them later could you include the fishing date in the description? Thanks brother and that water looked a bit dirty today?
Valiant effort trying to pull something good up around what looks like the bull shark barge. If that’s it , That place is full of the unholy trinity: cuda, sharks, and Goliath lol. I’ve seen some big snook and cobia caught there ,however , and also had a Goliath inhale a bonito at the boat and snap a 200 dollar spinning rod like a popsicle stick . I
I love your vids, but I gotta tell ya. Deep water fishing in the ocean looks like a waste of time and money. Getting sharked, losing fish, losing gear. It has to be depressing for you and it is boring to watch. Your inshore stuff is interesting and great to watch. It is also very informative and instructive in the do's and don'ts of saltwater fishing.
True sportsman heck of a lot of perseverance man good content thank you
Great video. Looked like an expensive day for lures lol.
Those squid jigs are badass. Off-shore they outfish everything everytime
Morning Rich!! Lookin tough out there slaying the beasts!!
Morning!! Thanks so much for tuning in!!!
Hey Rich,
Awesome video but I know a guy who uses wire leaders when fishing for snook and doesn’t notice any difference in hook-up ratio.
Beautiful snook! You put in a lot of work brother! Thanks! ♥
Thanks so much!! Yeah I spend a lot of hours out there to figure out the fish.
Great one ! Some great music at the first. Stopem or poppem. Respect from Tn
I’ll be in Tavernier mid Jan …where were you fishing? approx😂?
I've tried the sent additive, can't tell if it works or not.
Rich great video as always, what depth were those snook at?
I was in about 35 to 40ft of water.
Also wanted to add: I’m surprised there were so many snook in the nearshore ocean so late in November. I figured they’d all be in the back by then.
Yeah I’m learning not all the Snook push inshore immediately. The water was still 77/78 degrees on the surface.
Was it 30 pound flouro when he was catching the snook ?
I look forward to your videos all week Rich. Good shit brother
Edìt.. and I did not roll up for this, I ate gummies. About 80mgs Worth lol
Hahaha enjoy your morning thanks so much for watching!!

Bro you literally have blown that spot out so bad.. RUclips has ruined fishing smh
The spinning reels are not really working well for this.
I'm a captain with more than 18'000 flight hours. These guys reacted exactly like I had would.
