Lucky for me, I bought mine with 95k miles for 2,000$!! AWD, V6... What more could you ask for? I like this better than the 2014 bmw I drove for 4 years!!
But I think you know that this is why the 3.0 and 4.2 engines were installed on this model.. if you want a tank car, you can get the 1.6 petrol or 1.9 tdi
Got one with 93k somehow. From a performance standpoint it’s nothing special but got damn is the low end torque good and a very unique exhaust note that you rarely hear coming from an a4

Most audi owners seem to be morons, the audi v6's can easily be tuned to way past what the 1.8 can. The only difference is that the 1.8 can be tuned easily when going for a mild improvement, if you're going for 350 or more HP the 1.8 is going to need some serious modding too.
@@nvl2691 20v pistons are the same as the ones in the 30v the 2.4 and 2.7 30v are the exact same and the 2.6, 2.8 and 3.0 30v are 1.5 mm bigger bore 81 vs 82.5. Haven't looked into the rods but vw likes to reuse parts so much that you can be sure those are the same too. That leaves only the ecu as a cause of headaches, unless you know how to run a speeduino in wasted spark and crossfire injection mode.
The rest could take lessons from 1:12 and 3:26 for mid range loudness and 7:39 & 9:39 for a clear sounding loud exhaust. I actually have that engine, and I in the way to modify it. I going to port the cyl head, complete exhaust with headers in 2.5', full intake, stage 2 repro in dyno, and I will going to think in nitrous to make 100hp more (only with nitro). That engine comes with 220hp, and 300nm. So I think that with the modifications, will going to create around 300bhp, and with nitro 400hp.
3:04 IMHO that is NOT a V6 based on the engine note, it's a 1.8T. The OP of that clip states it's a 3.0 in his title but IMHO he's wrong. The real V6 music starts at 5:38.
