Your performance of T-Bone Shuffle IMMEDIATELY grabbed my attention and respect, sir! it had such a clear personality and competence to how you handled the rhythm with a very light, playful touch!
Yes it gave me inspiration. I played this tune different. Iv never heard the real version. I love T. Bone suffal feel. I've got the backing track tempos different 🤣😂🎸🎶🤗🌏FNZealand
T-Bone is my guitar hero along with Django, I've recently bought a es-175 (homage) specifically to practice my 7 chords and T-Bone shuffle/phrasing but I'm no Tim or T-Bone unfortunately. It's my first foray into the world of hollow body guitars and I've been blown away by how versatile it is and comfortable, I would be happy just with my Tele and the 175 to be honest, they do everything :-) Thanks Tim really enjoyed this.
I guess I ll try my own transcription, as an exercise, as a summer work , that upward stroke on the 15th fret is pure joy, need some time to master ! Then I ll switch back to your transcription when it’s online. Keep sending those gifts from a bygone area. Bernard.
I just posted this yesterday it takes a little time for transcriptions to be made but I will definitely be making one of this performance so stay tuned and thank you for listening.
A question if I may. You love vintage guitars obviously but I was curious if you have ever played something hyper modern that "struck a chord" (as it were) as well?
Super job Tim , nothing but the best here, are you still using a Quilter amp ? On a side note about TrueFire, should I start with J/B pathways or J/B foundations. Take good care , Bernard
Tim, nice playing. It looks like you're not playing flatwounds. I've got flats (with a wound G) on my 54 es-175. Am I missing out? What strings are you playing?
Anyone who wants to play jazz blues rhythm guitar need only learn the last forty seconds of this. Mastery and way cool. Thanks Tim!
great way to start the day. Some T-bone shuffle!
Joyful playing, it seems this 175 gave you a special inspiration. Thank you for sharing your art and your love for music
If t bone was there, he would be happy because you played great you killed it love it

@@TimLerchGuitar thanks Tim. I would love to get that transcription from your website. Have bought from your store before. 😃
My mistake it was “ Bouncing with the Blue”.
so sick

Thank you. JB foundations first then pathways. I still use the quilter live but in the studio I use a Princeton reverb
♡
Sounds bloody great, Tim. What strings do you use?
Dude face it this is the only guitar you need.
Not enough Os in Smooooooooooooth! Very tasteful.
I have just listen to Nothing but the Blues , the ES 350 seems much more woody, or is it the amp? Take care Bernard
The amp is the same. But every P90 is a little different. I was also playing very very quietly on this recording.
Tim, nice playing. It looks like you're not playing flatwounds. I've got flats (with a wound G) on my 54 es-175. Am I missing out? What strings are you playing?
I dislike flatwounds, I use D’Addario EJ 21 round wound
0:01 Beginning
P90 sound
Peer as you might into the depths of that tone you can't see the bottom.
First!
For what? 🤔
Hope you get that participation trophy Gomer...
