Joe - I 100% experience time in a similar way. Sometimes a day travels at a snails pace and other days fly by. I am convinced that we all perceive time differently.
Abhi, don't pull a Jayka on us! It doesn't matter if you were born after 1992! Newsies exists! If you like musicals, check it out! Also, props to Joe for singing the best song in the movie, even if it was just for a second!
Interesting fact: Living through the COVID pandemic has given sociologists a new perspective on the Roaring 20s. It was generally believed that the excesses of that Era were the result of WWI. But seeing how society was reacting to the pandemic made them rethink the impact of the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic (as more impact full than the war).
Joe you are not crazy ...I experience that almost every week at my job. Some days the shift drags and there are days where it goes faster than I thought.
I experience the time thing all the time. Somedays are slow and some are long. I always feel like where did the time go. No matter if I am busy or having an easy day.
America not having well made tailored suits makes complete sense to me because America, especially these days, favor quantity over quality, and that goes for food as well. I swear too many Americans are impatient, and I'm speaking as an American myself. They don't like to wait too long for something. So that's why I think American brands just mass produce everything they make and the quality of those things suffers for it.
The Newsies broadway soundtrack is on my driving to work playlist. Also, stage musical > movie. Fight me. Also, my little sister loves Newsies and shes under 30.
Nicole you are awesome. You are human, and you are great. Don't give the naysayers a second thought. And please, don't feel like you need to apologize to everyone. Correct yourself once in the comment section and forget the rest. People have way too much time on their hands.
Joe talking about time going slow or fast is so relatable. I also have those days laying in bed in the morning sometimes it goes fast and sometime it goes slow. Joe you are not crazy or we both are.
wow I'm glad you mentioned Jollibee commercials.. in the Philippines, even Mc Donald's commercials are like Hallmark movies- also emotional because they have to compete with Jollibee since Filipinos love to eat at Jollibee more for the nostalgia. We ate fried chicken with the best gravy and rice as a kid until we're adults.
Time is definitely distorted for the last 4 to 6 years. And so many life-altering events happened in my life during the last four years and I almost feel numb to it because of everything going on with the pandemic. It's like nothing else I have experienced in my 51 years of life. It makes no sense in my brain.
lol, Joe I've had very similar experiences where I've had days CRAWL and others speed on through. This has also happened while I've been laying down in bed, but oddly only in time slowing down, I don't remember experiencing a time leap from that.
Look up the Commercial for Awia stereo system. It was a guy jamming to "Another one bites the Dust" in a Hearst. It is one of the best commercials to ever been made.
joe I think the good Niel deGrass Tyson might have a podcast or something similar where he talks about the time thingy. or just accept that it is Wibbly wobbly, timey wimey.
I've really enjoyed the ReactCAST so far! I'm loving getting a more in depth look at the people who make me laugh every day. I love the behind the scenes skinny and all the games. I think if Placky wasn't 16 he might know more old stuff. ;) I'm a good bit older than your demographic, 55, but I've learned a lot about music and pop culture because of the React channels! Thanks so much.
Joe, I experience “accordion days,” and I feel like I’ve noticed it more post pandemic than prior, but I was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder post pandemic, so take what you want. 😅
I am with Joe on the timing things but Joe and Nicole, I have heard of Newsies I have never watched it and I am over 40, not sure it was big in the UK even though I am based in Canada now.
The best commercial I've ever seen has to be the Baja California Starburst commercial. It has it all mariachis playing, giant teeth, drama, and of course starbursts. As a Mexican man I highly approve of this commercial 😂
Adding a comment that Joe is not crazy about the time thing. Having slow day today myself. Closed my eyes when I woke up at 4am and it felt forever to get to 5am.
I always thought the noid was a manifestation of annoyance (being annoyed or "a noid") at bad delivery (late delivery, cold food, wrong toppings, damaged pizza, rude delivery person). Stating that Domino's does it better. Go figure
"I can't believe it's already [insert time]." then it's all... "I can't believe it's not even [insert time]." So yes, Mr. Joe, I totally get it. Oh also, the Taster's Choice commercials with Anthony Stewart Head.
I've been following react for years and enjoy that you brought back some of the original reactors. I do enjoy the new channels but I do miss some of the old stuff. You guys used to react to games where elders played the games or like when they teens played the full games, the last of us. I think like do an episode of not just guess the old game but see these gamers play these old games. Since you can get the old game systems, atari, sega, Nintendo etc. I think that would be a great react show.
I totally get and agree with what Joe is talking about when it comes to a distorting perception of time passing. I've had several similar experiences myself when it comes to thinking or feeling like several hours have passed and then you look at a clock and it's only been a few minutes. It's a completely common phenomena that everybody experiences actually, at some point or antoher, to some degree or another, though depending on person to person, some may not really ever notice or really be conscious of it, or otherwise just disregard it. Some opinions and theories suggest that such distorted perceptions of time passing is connected or otherwise may be related to the sensation of Deja Vu🙅🤷🤔(?)-😁. One of the most common causes of this is when either highly focused on something, or not having anything to occupy your attention, and/or when bored, or two, or all three of them. Or when it feels like it's only been a few minutes when several hours have passed, which typically occurs when again being highly focused on something, and/or preoccupied with/by a physical activity, and/or enjoying said preoccupation(s). That happens to me all the time when I'm playing video games or really into whatever writing project I'm working on at the time. The PASSAGE of Time is objective, in terms of physics, at least as we currently understand and define it, but otherwise "time" is just an overall innocuous and benign form of measurement that we invented and only makes sense and applies to us and how, and why, and what we use it for, (i.e. the objective flow of time is a force we don't yet quite know what it is, how it works, or fully understand yet, while the measurement of time is just a subjective relative invention). But the perception of time is highly to extremely subjective, typically entirely involuntarily so, which therefore can cause a perceptional parallax. Great consequential side topic.
One of the worst ones for me was the misuse of #whyIstayed. The hashtag was created as a way to answer why victims of domestic violence choose to stay in unsafe relationships. DiGiornio used the hashtag and wrote "You had pizza". Understandably, that didn't go over too well.
I’m over 30 (38) and haven’t seen that movie yet. My favorite commercial(s): KIAs holiday one from a few years ago or so that had a location decked out in lights and other Christmas decorations to a popular holiday song (forgot song used), Cheerios’ holiday commercial with the baby and grandma talking about being far from each other and the Walmart holiday commercial where they did Jingle Bells (I think) using the cashier assistance lights. All are favorites
You could do brand battles at some point. One story i still have in mind is MCD vs. BK in France. How it started: ruclips.net/video/VMjRSnokms8/видео.html How it ended: ruclips.net/video/rLwvaQDSpBc/видео.html
I'm 53 yo and I've never heard of Newsies!! I'm sorry I will check it out after binging on PVF channels and all the rest!! Lol love you guys and all your shows, it helped me get through 10 months of being homeless and living in motels with my 5yo granddaughter!!! Thank You!!!!
Joe - I 100% experience time in a similar way. Sometimes a day travels at a snails pace and other days fly by. I am convinced that we all perceive time differently.
You are not crazy Joe, that was literally my week last week.
Abhi, don't pull a Jayka on us! It doesn't matter if you were born after 1992! Newsies exists! If you like musicals, check it out! Also, props to Joe for singing the best song in the movie, even if it was just for a second!
My high school js did this! It was amazing and we won the Kenny’s in NYC for it

Joe you are not crazy ...I experience that almost every week at my job. Some days the shift drags and there are days where it goes faster than I thought.
Same. Some days take forever to go by while others just fly by for me.
I experience the time thing all the time. Somedays are slow and some are long. I always feel like where did the time go. No matter if I am busy or having an easy day.
Anthony's second question for Abhi was actually a great question!
I don't know who came up with the idea of these podcasts but keep 'em coming. Love it!
I hate to say it but my guess for the Boston Marathon was "You da bomb!" The subject was bad marketing strategies but I'm still sorry
That was my first thought too 😬ps React team the boston marathon disaster was in 2014 so especially bad.
More Abhi please.

Yes Joe is correct...we call it....wibbly wobbly timey whimey. It slows down and speeds up often. :P
Joe I totally understand!!!
I have said those exact words about timr
Newsies is a big deal!! And I was born in 94!! 😭😭😭 it’s a classic and has Christian bale
100% agree with Joe on the time warp that he talked about at 26:45!
Yes Joe, I have had days that seem to last long and days that seem to fly by.
Generations lyric breakdown of the Cats in the Cradle by Harry Chapin
Joe is not crazy. I totally feel the time warping
Hell yeah man I get those too
The Newsies broadway soundtrack is on my driving to work playlist. Also, stage musical > movie. Fight me.
Also, my little sister loves Newsies and shes under 30.
the theme song needs more tambourine.
or cowbell
Nicole you are awesome. You are human, and you are great. Don't give the naysayers a second thought. And please, don't feel like you need to apologize to everyone. Correct yourself once in the comment section and forget the rest. People have way too much time on their hands.

Joe I totally know what you mean about time moving at different paces on a day to day bases
I understand completely what Joe saying about time!!! I feel you Joe I feel you!!!
Me too, I thought I was going to be the only other person, I was kind of freaked to help for a second😂
16:26 So with React, does that make Joe the king, Nicole the queen, and Kevin the court magician?
I really like Abhi he is so smart and nice thank you for having him on the pod cast
53:58 Instead of Lawrence of Arabia, it's Abhi of Arabia!
I have dealt with what Joe was talking about when it comes to time.
Samies!
I think the worst branding retroactively was the unfortunately named AYDS Diet Candy.
1:01:12 You calling me out on mine, and anyone else's, age, Kevin Plachy? 🤣
"The hormones were hormone-ing!"
🤣🤣🤣🤣 That's a quote and a half!
This, the Izzy on the street stuff, I like everything React is doing recently
4:49 Abhi "mansplaining" international women's day! 😂😂😂
Oh yeah, the time feeling happens a lot with me, I don't understand how the other 2 say they don't experience that
The time perception thing is called "time dilation" and its often associated with ADHD
I'm with you Joe, definitely experience the time fast/slow thing
Joe you're not crazy I too can feel time fluctuating
wow I'm glad you mentioned Jollibee commercials.. in the Philippines, even Mc Donald's commercials are like Hallmark movies- also emotional because they have to compete with Jollibee since Filipinos love to eat at Jollibee more for the nostalgia. Newsies was a huge movie for real.
A word from anthony..my favourite segment of the podcast!! I could listen to his smooth like butter words all dang day 💖
I'm now addicted to ReactCAST. Please get out of my Head!!!
Omg Joe thought of the same thing I was thinking the other day about the time and sleep thing.
Joe is def not crazy. My day is NEVER the same length it feels. Lol
Time is definitely distorted for the last 4 to 6 years. Abhi is so interesting! I’m glad y’all had him on, I hope he comes back again sometime!
I've really enjoyed the ReactCAST so far! I'm loving getting a more in depth look at the people who make me laugh every day. I love the behind the scenes skinny and all the games. Joe is correct about first generation definition.
I know exactly what Joe was talking about with the time thing. Send to me all the time..
Joe articulating the morning differences in time.
I was recently diagnosed with ADHD though.
It was an interesting conversation. You're great producers, team and human beings, keep developing. Thanks!
I am with Joe on the timing things but Joe and Nicole, I have heard of Newsies I have never watched it and I am over 40, not sure it was big in the UK even though I am based in Canada now.
I love seeing Abhi. His accent is awesome.
The best commercial I've ever seen has to be the Baja California Starburst commercial. It has it all mariachis playing, giant teeth, drama, and of course starbursts. As a Mexican man I highly approve of this commercial 😂
Joe’s best theme song yet!!
Joe I have the same experience with time. It’s wild and I thought it was just me
Joe yeah time does the same thing for me. It actually feels good to know I am not the only one.
Go figure
I know what Joe means by time slowing down or speeding by.
Joe your definitely not crazy that time change depending on the situation
"I can't believe it's already [insert time]." then it's all... "I can't believe it's not even [insert time]." So yes, Mr. Joe, I totally get it. Oh also, the Taster's Choice commercials with Anthony Stewart Head.
28:43 I have the same thing Joe, so I would say.. Crazy you are not, but then again maybe we and all others like us are just crazy together😅
I want the reaction crew on here please
Newise????
Yes there are tunnel in Disneyland. We got a guy at work that worked for Disneyland and he did confirm they exist.
I TOTALLY understand what Joe was saying about time fluctuating!! I experience it A LOT!!!
I've been following react for years and enjoy that you brought back some of the original reactors. I do enjoy the new channels but I do miss some of the old stuff. Joe you aren’t crazy at all, this happens to me all the time
The only thing I can ask for is more episodes 😂 I love this, it feels like I'm just hanging out with you guys behind the scenes.
THE INTRO THEMESONG WAS GOOD hahahaha joe is so funny
I love the Progressive car insurance commercials with Dr. Rick helping first time homeowners who are turning into their parents.
I’m loving the reactcast. And the special guests.
My favourite commercial is the Canadian House Hippo 🦛. ❤
Good ad campaign: the Budweiser series where they go from the talking frogs, via louie the lizard and the ferret..... epic tale... must see
Failure: IHOP moving away from Pancakes and embracing burgers as IHOb
Success: Budweiser's tribute to 9/11
Abhi must love the shade Duolingo inflicted on the UK.
x I experience the same phenomena as Joe all the time, where time seems radically slower or faster and that fluctuates all the time.
I've been hearing talk about the time thing, and it makes me feel so valid. I'm with Joe!
I love the word from Anthony. But his puppy baby!!! OMG. So cute. I loved how he just cuddled them and loved on them. What a precious pair.
The Dove commercial in the late 2010's and the Pepsi commercial starting Kendall or Kiley Jenner.
You guys should do a react to the tv show community
My sister likes the Newsies.
I agree with Joe. Time for me either goes by stupid fast or slow as a snail
I totally get and agree with what Joe is talking about when it comes to a distorting perception of time passing. Budweiser, whassap, frogs, and Clydesdales are winning comms.Terrible: Quiznos ratlike things...Just NO!
That time thing is anxiety and adhd. Happens to me all the time
For you. I also experience the the time warp but I don't have ADHD.
I’m over 30 (38) and haven’t seen that movie yet. Yes Joe!! You're spot on with the 5 minutes feeling like an hour! I experience that regularly!
Biggest brand mistake that comes to mind instantly is when DiGiornos advertised their pizza under a hashtag discussing domestic violence :l
Apple’s holiday commercials are by far my favorite ongoing ad campaign
I'm 53 yo and I've never heard of Newsies!! I'm sorry I will check it out after binging on PVF channels and all the rest!! Lol love you guys and all your shows, it helped me get through 10 months of being homeless and living in motels with my 5yo granddaughter!!! Thank You!!!!
I have the same time feeling Joe!
I’m white but I am not Alergic to dogs. In fact I’m not even allergic to anything except for hay. I get hay fever
100% feel like the days speed by and the next day drags on. I just figured it was a result of working retail for all those years😅
Joe is not crazy about the time thing, there are days that fly and days that drag.
