Ducks' Assistant Coaches Not Returning

The Anaheim Ducks organization made several key changes to the front office and, most importantly, the coaching staff. JD Hernandez briefly talks about the changes up top, including a new general manager for the San Diego Gulls. Also, Craig Johnson and Newell Brown will both not be returning as assistant coaches with the news that the Ducks will not be renewing their contracts. This gives coach Greg Cronin a chance to finally take this team from the bottom of the standings to a potential playoff team. Where should the Ducks look to hire their new assistants? The team needed to do something. The special teams has been absolutely dreadful. The last few seasons it’s been running into a wall and expecting a new outcome. Very excited to see Cronin’s guys change things up. We’ve got so many talented offensive weapons and young D with good skating…I feel like our special teams could be deadly with adequate coaching.
