I love driving Hai Van Pass, between the gate and Da Nang on the pass there is a really cute coffee shop with a really cute puppy and kittens plus a fantastic view of Da Nang and the railroad. If your email is in your channel description I'll send photos and the address. Anther great video
@huey8431 thank you! I can't tell you how much I appreciate your comment. Many vloggers glamorize travel and often times it's not that way at all, so I thank you for liking our honesty 😊 ❤️
NOT an influencer! Sure you are! You influence our age bracket, hopefully some youngsters too! I slow traveled for 6 years, this year I basically stayed in Bangkok. Leave for a cruise in August, Greek Islands, then back to the states for awhile. Having a Tiny home built as a home base. Then Eastern US and Florida, and of course, Canada! Have a van, so can still go slow! Will still be watching you for inspiration and laughs!
2:58 Yes, it is a fort. The lady who said "American bunker" must have been confused with a bunker originally built by the French nearby. This fort was built in the early 19th century by the Nguyen Dynasty, as an early warning sentinel for the south flank of their capital (Hue). I visited that place more than 10 yrs ago when the vestiges of the war were still all around: signs of blasts from rockets, mortars, bullet holes, etc. Your "click-bait" title worked: "Best view... not where you think" 😁; I clicked. An extra note: Hai Van Pass (which means "Clouds meeting the Sea" pass) was the deadliest spot for many decades. During the winter, the pass can be shrouded in fog rolling in from the sea, like the Golden Gate Bridge. In poor visibility, many cars, buses plunged into the ravine below. There used to be many small shrines lined along the pass for those who died. Passengers told stories of seeing ghosts or hearing wailing when passing the area at night. The Hai Van tunnel through the mountain solves the problem.
@thanhthuynguyen6104 thanks for the info! 👍 I don't consider my title as "click bait" if it delivers what it says! Does that little restaurant not have the best view or what! 👍😍 hai van pass is beautiful
Small people Tiny little piece of land with long big history , Vietnamese, struggling and surviving people 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 Before 1973, Danang had no university, some people traveled by motorcycle to Hue for school, hard life back then Good foods there too Mange tout !! 😄😄😄😄💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿🐤🐤🐤
Hi there! When you are in the sun everyday, I find it actually cooler, believe it or not.... and it's better than putting on a tonne of sunscreen 👍 thank you for watching!
I really like your videos. I also enjoy listening to you both explain your experiences. Ive visited Torino restaurant thanks to your channel. Thanks for your content.
I like to drive around the mountains in Da Nang. I wonder if the motorbike with 125cc is strong enough to climb the mountain hills or I need 160cc motorbike.
Our 125 seems to carry us just fine to many places. The only area you'd need a manual is coming up the Son Tra peninsula.... they don't allow automatics up the mountain at all. 👍
Hello, I am very happy to see many people around the world choosing Vietnam as a place to explore tourism. I hope you will overlook the shortcomings and have fun on your vacation.
The fort looks okay but lacks the "wow" factor.. I wouldn't pay the tourist trap entrace fee considering how much better the views are from the coffee shops along the way up
@yamuiemata luckily this time it was free, it was small but we still enjoyed walking around and exploring it! But, yeah... that coffee shop was Awesome for the view! 😍
@the_curious_company_on_travel our Wednesday walks are raw vlogs I think the sounds add to the experience..... you are hearing it like we are, no filter. If you want filtered, watch out Sunday videos! 👍 thanks for watching
@samuri2011 that is a random question.... I've never given it much thought but the ones we've seen here belong to someone! We just pet them when we can. 🤣
No, our mission is to enjoy travels.... we still work with a budget and if it fits in the budget, we do it! 👍 if you think our channel is expensive I'd hate to see what you say about alot of other travelers out there! 😂 Vietnam has been great, but I can't just live off of 2$ bowls of Pho everyday!

Hi good vid, but you should filter out all unnecessary noises as wind, honk, etc.

That shrine at the beach is a mausoleum for a dead whale washing ashore. Fishermen in Central Vietnam revere whales.
It was beautiful 😍
Random question, if you see puppies on the street is it taboo to adopt them or take them home? Do they usually belong to someone or just strays?
@samuri2011 that is a random question.... I've never given it much thought but the ones we've seen here belong to someone! We just pet them when we can. 🤣
In Vietnam don't see the Muslim follow You ....But, in European not easy to go out everywhere , everyday....
That's why we love our down days. We don't go out every day! 👍
