I love how Eric Clapton never tried to "look" like a rockstar. Just dressed like it was a regular day. He totally understands that it's all about the music.
@@get_downed_boi6270 Yes but 'God' is a proper name and must be capitalized whether or not you believe in Him. e.g. Santa Claus, Zeus, the Easter Bunny.
Many disagree, but this is my favorite Clapton era. When he switched to the Strat full time his vibrato came out at it's peak, and he played with so much more groove. Cream is great, but to me he hit his peak in the 70s.

This version with this intro is SO SICK better than any version i’ve heard. Why doesn’t this exist anywhere else?! When the bass comes in - then the drum kit - it is funky as hell. How could Eric not have recorded this in studio!

Steve Mirfin You were correct bro, it wasn't Steve Winwood after all. It was Tim Renwick on second guitar. They looked helluva lot alike then. And Winwood did play second guitar solo 23 years later in February 2008. Clapton & Winwood recreated "Cocaine" in "Live from Madison Square Garden" concert: ruclips.net/video/f12HYNKI3dw/видео.html
Majestic & exquisite solos by Clapton ! He is simply the best. Many could play the same notes, with exactly the same timing, but it wouldn’t sound half as good. That’s what makes Clapton great ! Amen

Tim Renwick steal the show with this amazing and unbelievable guitar solo at the end ! first i saw this video, i believe it was mark knopfler. I buy a mexican fender stratocaster black and white because of this video and she's become my favourite guitare since 13 years. But his default is only 21 cases ^^ (sorry for my speak, i'm french)

Clapton has got to be the best guitarist of all time. Hendrix died too soon. BB stayed too boxed in. EVH wasn’t able to evolve more than 2 decades. Poor SRV dies in a helicopter accident. There’s no denying a younger Clapton would spazz out on the guitar more than the older Clapton does.

Donald 'Duck' Dunn's bass work is superb here
Awesome - Clapton is a great singer, song writer, and phenomenal with the guitar. A real good person too. Song still kicks butt in 2020
