I raised my Black Stars here in Texas on a 22% before I started learning from y’all. Then I listened and dropped it down to 18%. Their egg production slowed way down. I went back up to 20% and their egg production went back up. I did not even think about the heat causing them to eat less. Oh and I did get alfalfa, put it in a net and hung it. They love it.
Does the heat from the pellet making process reduce mycotoxins in the feed?
Didn’t they outlaw antibiotics in commercial poultry?
