When I decided I wanted to hatch eggs and started asking people questions it was so overwhelming all the different information people gave me. Everyone told me something different. The HatchMate has been perfect for me. Read the instruction manual cover to cover and did what it said and BOOM success. I tell people to just go for it and don’t get overwhelmed with all the different info. Great video Daniel!

PEOPLE, DEFINITELY DO NOT PULL THAT STUCK EGG OFF. SOAK a very warm washcloth on it and get it rehydrated and very gently remove with tweezers!😮 and keep the chick warm , fluff the down up very, very carefully.

For me this starts now because chicken now here is around 10euro while eggs are about 1,50 per egg fertelized. If i buy incubator is about 60euros.. while i need at least 15 chickens min for my family only. That means it is cheaper for me to buy eggs and incubate them. Yes, i lose some time, but at the end i have land where i can grow food for them.

Sadly a lot of people have no idea where food comes from. A lot of city people will say it comes from the store or the store warehouse. They are clueless about the farms, ranches, processors, and packaging plants.

I'm having issues with our incubator. It's an old Humidaire model D. I can't seem to get the balance correct. Either the temperature gets too high or the humidity is too low. When i try to get my humidity to 60% the temp rises with it even though the heat light never comes on. I think the heating element in the water pan is producing too much heat. I keep the pan full. I just can't get the balance right. The original controller gave out and i got an inkbird controller. I may need to move the temperature and humidity probes but I can't figure it out. Before i put the shelves i made for it inside of it, because the originals got lost, i got it prefect. Once i filled in that space it just won't balance out. Before the original controller went out, I hatched out quite a few eggs.

Repent and trust in Jesus. We all deserve Hell for our sins, such as lying lusting coveting and more. We can't save ourselves, but Jesus can save us. He died on the cross to save us for our sins and rose from the grave defeating death and Hell. You must put your faith in him only. He is the only way to Heaven. Repent and trust in Jesus.

I don't understand all the steps and all the technical work with hatching chicks we use a Montgomery ward incubator all you do is 1.fill the water tray up at the bottom 2. put the eggs in the drawers 3. plug the incubator in 4.roll morning and night 5. add water when it is low 6. wait for them to start hatching at 21 day 7. the eggs that have not hatched after 25 day I toss them away

I learned about chickens the old fashion way. Back before the internet and from being raised on the farm. It’s a myth that you HAVE to dip a chicks beak in water to show them where its at. You don’t dip their beaks in their feeder to show them where that is. It’s called natural instinct. They can detect water by their senses, generally by smelling the water in the atmosphere. A mother hen doesn’t dip her chicks beaks in water. They will find it on their own and once the first chick finds it, the others will imitate. We have probably hatched out thousands of eggs the last 50+ years and have never dipped their beaks in water when they went into the brooder. It’s a MYTH.
