Houston’s expression when he heard and felt the two baby ducks was priceless! I saw Jami box them up for you Houston.. it would be fun if they were Pablo’s offspring! It’s going to be so fun seeing them and the chicks grow.. loved this sweet video! I needed this ! 🤗🤗
I spend pretty much all my time alone! I see my grandkids every couple of weeks to take out my trash! The rest of my kid and grandkids are not close. When I watch y'all I feel like I am watching family! I smile every time Houston smiles! He makes me feel good about the way he is raised. I know this sounds crazy, but he is such a kind and happy child he just makes me smile! I don't feel so alone when I watch y'all!
lol your words sometimes I have to stop & decifer. "Pipping out" lol. I knew that meant hatching. I thonk the ducklings wanted to follow Hunter. Ducks & Geese imprint after hatching to the first one they see. So darn cute! Good job Hunter. Dad you gotta let him do more by himself.😉
That will so exciting to see Houston’s face when the eggs hatch! Jami has so many ducks and geese she could keep you supplied in eggs for a long time. She is such a sweet lady, glad you have hooked up with them.❤️😀
Lester even gave some away last month r so Jake helped him trap them and put in a cage to give away to a friend there close by. He needs to give some more to Daniel and Houston. Lol Debbie from Texas
@@debbiecozortakalonghornmom1862 hi Debbie I follow all the Morrow's too. I recognized your name from comments section. I love Jami she is so sweet to help Houston out with wanting to try his hand at hatching baby ducks and put some of their chicken eggs on their. Now they have goose eggs. It was just so nice of her. Thanks Jami for helping a fellow farmer out with there child's wish you are great.
Both of you when that duck chirped was great! Congrats Houston Your a duck and chick Dad!! those ducks are adorable! Cant wait to see them named and grow up on the Homestead!!!
This is a great learning experience for Houston. Very nice of Jami to do this for him. I hope atleast one of the ducks look like Pablo. Great video God bless ❤
Ah, Houston you did an amazing job! My heart skipped a beat when you heard the sweetest noises in the world right in your hands ❤️❤️❤️ Your love of animals is going to take you so far in life in so many ways. I hope you have success with the geese, too! I’m betting you can make them love you and chase your dad all over just like mine do with Lester 🤣 P.S. I can’t wait to see what your babies grow up to look like.
Thank you Daniel and Houston 🥰 I've been waiting for this video, I watched Jami collecting the eggs for you ❤ Baby videos are the best, I love little ducklings 🥰🥰
Awwww...They sure are cute, Houston!! I hope one of the baby ducks does belong to Pablo and inherits his hilarious personality...I bet Jami will be excited to watch them grow, and not have to be the one who has to take care of them lol I'm excited to watch them grow up too
Houston is a well rounded person with a big heart and taught by his wonderful parents what a great family love you guys and expression on his face when he was holding her egg was very awesome
The look on Houston’s face when he heard that duck peep inside the egg🥰😍😘 What precious little ducks💖 Name them Jami and Lester🤣 Earl was so curious 🧐 What a great project for Houston. Congratulations 🥳🎊
Houston's face was priceless through out this whole process. I can't wait to see if they look like Pablo. I'm looking forward to see if you get some geese out of the next batch.
Ostrich eggs, oh dear, more interesting fowl on the farm... I get a kick out of Lester n Jamie’s ostrich’s. Houston’s face is amazing..I heard it too. Houston will be a wonderful dad someday. So sensitive and anxious to learn. How precious... new ducklings! Y’all going to have to build a brooder.. you have one.. how special! So cute,.. Lester and Jamie! Well, papa.. everything poops!
I'm so excited to see how the duck and geese eggs turn out. Houston is so cute and excited. I even am excited about Houston trying to hatch turtle eggs.
Great experience for Houston. I'm 52 and started with raising and hatching chickens when I was around his age and stuck with it on into my 30s . I sure miss it .When I was his age I used a homemade small cardboard box with a lightbulb and a hole cut in the top to candle the eggs. I still have a few chickens and a few Moscovy ducks on our pond. Great job Houston
Good to see Houston's face light up when he saw the hatchlings. In the 1940s in London, during the war years, I used to buy day old chicks. Put them in a box with a wrapped hot water bottle to keep them warm. Our food was rationed. No electricity in those days. Most survived and went to the table. With all the new gadgets now things have certainly changed and made life easier. But, for a boy the thrill of raising something from an egg never changes. If you put the incubators in insulated boxes it would save your workshop heating usage? I good video.
For future reference, I'd check with Jason and Mary Carl, if I'm not mistaken, I think the small end should be pointing down, in the stand up incubator. I think he said it allows for a larger oxygen pocket in the shell. This is sooooo exciting and I'm an adult, I could only imagine how excited Houston is!
I believe you’re right Ashleigh. I remember MaryCarl explaining about the air pocket on the bottom/rounded end of the egg. I Love watching and learning from Lester, Daniel, Jason, and their families! Happy Farm, Happy Life 🥰
I was going to suggest MaryCarl myself but was afraid some might take offense to it. I watch all their videos: Ima survivor, CogHill farms, Suits to boots, all the other Morrow videos, and Arms as well. They are all very entertaining and informative, too.
One suggestion for the incubator he had the ducks and chickens in: When you remove the separator tray (when 3 days left) have a piece of that non-slip foam shelf-liner cut to fit and put that over the plastic the eggs are resting on. The plastic can be slick and their little feet can be hard to keep under them - resulting in splayed legs. You can get a roll of it cheap at a dollar store. They keep it with the shelf-lining rolls. (Sometimes it's used under rugs to keep them from slipping...) Enjoy! I have a similar incubator and have hatched some chickens and even a peacock egg! I've also had some eggs explode in there and that's a smell you won't ever forget. EVER!
THIS WAS SUCH AN AWESOME VIDEO. I'M SO HAPPY FOR HOUSTON TO BE ABLE TO HATCH OUT HIS FIRST EGGS. THE DUCKS ARE CUTE BUT MY FAVORITE IS THE LITTLE BLACK CHICK. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE GEESE AFTER THEY HATCH OUT. THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR ADVENTURE...
We hatched a Red Earred Slider Turtle in a old lunch meat plastic container under our bathroom sink with just a damp paper towel in the container. That little turtle lived well over 8 yrs with us.
I love Houston's reaction when he heard his little ducklings peeping inside the eggs! His expression was priceless! I watch Suits to Boots and of course Lester's channel, so I just had to come see how the egg hatching is going!

Nice job Houston. Way to keep the old school way of life alive. I live in the big city but grew up on a farm and the school kids your age wouldnt know the first thing about what you are doing the just sit in a room and stare at a cell phone all day. Im sure they would love to do what you are doing if only give a chance. So thank the good lord above for the wonderful Mom and Dad you have. Have fun buddy.
Way to go Austin! Love your enthusiasm through this process. Hopefully your goose eggs are successful as well. Your next egg should be some of Lester’s Ostrich eggs, that would be super cool to see hatch!
That's awesome I hope those little ducks come out just like Pablo from I'ma Survivor Sanctuary because Pablo is probably one of the coolest ducks ever!
Houston just made my day! I absolutely loved seeing his reaction to each step of the process. Maybe he can name the ducks Lester and Jami or L.J. and J.J. (Lester Junior and Jami Junior)
Great video! Seeing the dachshund standing up melted my heart. I have 4 reds and 2 black and tans at the bridge. I miss them every day. I now have a little chocolate. Andy is about 11.
