Sonic Gather Battle was malware/spyware that didn't want you cheating or taking the sprites and so it became a "spooky" game by just making it obnoxious to play unless you asked the owner of the game to remove you from the list of bad people doing such bad things as cheating in a Sonic fangame.

I choose to believe that the triggers are properly implemented, and that in the game's canon, Eggman finally got a win on Sonic only to completely squander it by just kicking him off his Death Star Wannabe.
Can you do more Dumb Fun Gaming episodes? I'd love to see one for, say, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth.
I don't know what's funnier: the fact that Edgeworth spazzes out when you mash the B button while moving, or the fact that Gumshoe does the exact same thing!
My channel is all about fully showcasing everything about these Sonic fangames, i have also played this one.
And honestly i was hoping you would make a little bit more videos on these games as the editing is absolutely hilarious, still makes me laugh to this day xD

What actually happened is the yellow Emerald lost its power and regained it when chaos was defeated releasing the power from him reinvigorating the emerald

I think the intent behind the yellow/grey emerald debacle was that the emerald lost its power for a few minutes.
It did happen in the real Sonic Adventure.
Someone has probably told you this, but I think the developer intended for the "Grey Yellow Emerald" to be a one drained of the energy.
Honestly this feels like the makings of a talent all things considered? It's pretty dang solid for a fan game. The art's even pretty dang decent.

The emerald was grey because Chaos only absorbs the negative chaos energy, draining them of their colour.
