Especially cause it's very comon to be in since people use that pos to half guard pass. You just gonna end up there from time to time

This is my biggest obstacle as a white belt, at 160lbs, fat guys lay on me until I am smoked.
The lockdown will stop him from advancing position, can't escape the lockdown unless he switches his hips or sits up
Try being 145 pounds and getting stuck in this position. Bridging and turning slowly but surely starts to become ineffective after a while especially against heavier opponents. I’m also a white belt going on my second month of BJJ

I get smothered and cross-faced very hard when I’m in this position and the knee keeps popping through the middle, sometimes going to side control but usually going to mount.
How do I stop that knee of doom, and how do I win both underhooks?
