    Skyler was doing an impression of Marilyn Monroe's birthday greeting to JFK.

      It was creepy and sad when Marilyn did it, and super cringey here. She should have denied him.

    The kid actor who did the shooting was perfect with his expression after shooting.

    the gus reveal was more impactful when Giancarlo Esposito was not well known. This role made him super famous and branch out to well known other roles. You didn't know who the distributor was back then. now he is well known, you instantly know he is the one.

    And here arrives Gus Fring.. one of Television’s all time great characters..

    BB really picked up some speed in the 2nd half of season two. A few episodes ago we got introduced to Saul, and here we meet Gus for the first time.
    Oh yeah, and ofc we get the most cringe scene ever put on TV with the "Happy Birthday"-scene. :D

  • @hunter_6323

    skyler singing happy birthday is easily the most disturbing scene in the whole show

    “They won’t bring in an actor like that”
    Giancarlo Esposito was a struggling actor before breaking bad. Breaking bad was his breakout role. All the shows you know him from came after breaking bad

    • @holdenslayer
      @holdenslayer 28 дней назад +5

      BB made him big but he wasn't really struggling before. He collaborated with Spike Lee a lot and has been in several of his movies. Had a solid presence in the 90s indie circuit too & was in the show Homicide. Talented guy.

      Yes he was consistently getting work but he wasn’t making enough to live on or support his family. In fact he planned his suicide so his family could get te insurance money before he landed the role of Gustavo Fring

      @@holdenslayer He was struggling so bad financially after his divorce that he considered committing suicide via hit man so his children could get the insurance money. This was before Breaking Bad.

    On YT, there are a set of “training videos” for Los Pollos Hermanos with Gus Fring. You don’t need to seek them now, but it really digs into his character.

    I am glad that you understand that Jane did it to herself most people blame Jesse they say he let her do it or him talking about it tempted her but he told her to leave she went back yea maybe he could have tried harder but she chose to go back there with him she made that decision he left her alone in his living room and told her to leave his house I guess she got tempted and wanted to be there for him to talk and get high but she should have known better being clean for 18 months but that's how addicts are if they know someone else is doing it then it's only a matter of time before they brake. And that's true Jesse is vulnerable right now and her wanting to comfort him is also her excuse to break her sobriety

  • @LorraineVirginie
    @LorraineVirginie 26 дней назад

    Jane absolutely did not WANT to start using again. No one who quit for 18 months wants to go back. She’s an addict, who had not fully healed whatever led her to use in the first place, and she couldn’t say no when the opportunity presented itself. Addiction is a sad and powerful thing.

    As insensitive as that was for Walt to say that he really doesn't know Jesse's friends they have these weird nick names and he only met them like twice so he doesn't really know who is who and that's because he wanted to stay out of the dealing part of it he is just the cook but he should have taken initiative to know everyone who is working with them.

    Oh you sweet summer child who thinks children arent used by evil people all the time to do crimes... because kids cant be charged with crimes and are easily fooled.

    Jane and Jesse are both bad influences on each other. That's why addicts shouldn't be around other addicts, especially when one is in recovery and the other isn't.

    Just as you said it was Janes decision to stay, it was also Jesses decision to do heroine. Althought i think its being missed that "decisions" with drug adiccts (Even in recovery) are mix and blurry.

      He did need a safer place to grow up. Obviously reality often turns out different but he's still a product of his environment (and became "dangerous" because of it).

    We're supposed to believe that those thugs - who are 1000 times tougher than Jesse and his crew - would be afraid to defend their territory unless they heard for sure that Jesse didn't actually crush the junkie. Yeah, right.
