- Former BSF IG, PK Mishra says that combing and search and cordon operations must be carried out to rescue the kidnapped youths. He adds that Manipur Police and Assam Rifles who operate in those areas would be the best intelligence assets to aid rescue efforts. He also adds that militants' demands shouldn't be adhered to, and if their demands are met then it will open a pandora's box which will be detrimental to the state.
