Love these ideas! In addition to the medical info page I always include a section about first aid (e.g. emegency phone numbers including poison control, what to do in case of severe bleeding, heat stroke, shock, cardiac arrest, fire etc. etc.) and mark the respective page edges with washi tape so that I can find them easily if needed. Thankfully I hadn't have to use any of this yet, but I know it would stop me from panicking and not being able to remember what to do in an emergency.
I remember commenting this somewhere else but I don't remember where now. I used a small piece of single sided contact paper and wet erase markers to make a med list in the front of mine because prescriptions can change throughout the year. Handy for dr appointments and in case of emergencies. I also got clear peel and stick pockets online and printed a mini-booklet to put in one of them with instructions on taking care of my pets. It's stuck on what's usually the nameplate page in most journals. They came in different sizes so I have a few for business cards and a credit card if needed as well.
It occurs to me that you'd be reading last year's Letter to Future Me around the same time you're writing the one for the upcoming year. Do you have a process for this? Which one do you like to accomplish first? It might be nice to read last year's prior to writing next year's, but then again, that might unduly influence what you choose to include.
@ArcherandOlive 🤔 hmmm,,, I wasn't sure till you asked, haha! I'd probably want to use the previous year's as a template for the next year's, respond to questions, react to suggestions, laugh at predictions, things like that. But then again, I'm not really sure what I'd say in the first place. I guess that's why I'm so curious about her process. I feel nosy cuz I'm over here like, What do you wriiiiiite??? 😝🤭
I love that productivity tracker idea! I need to do that for next year.
Glad you liked it! 😄
Jess, the gamified goal idea is genius! Thank you 💛
Glad you like that one! 💜

Always good to have the reference handy, even if we hope we never have to use it 👏

Love the bingo idea: self care, holiday activities come to mind!
That'd be a great way to use it, yeah! 💪
It's so fun to mark off the squares!
These are absolutely fantastic ideas. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you liked them! 😄💜
I need to put in a spread of when my kids come home, and also some cute pics to enter into my journal too. 🤔
Sound like good additions 👌
Those are both great ideas to add to a journal!
I like the bingo idea and the letter to your future self idea
Glad you liked them! 😄💜

Good question! Which way would you do it?
