Excellent. Well done. So much information for guys like me. Also, planning to visit in my missing country “Philippines”. Thank you again for sharing. It is really help. 👌👍🙏
This is very informative! So is this something to do once you are in Manila? We can't do it yet before arriving in the Philippines? We will be doing island hopping from El Nido to Coron and I will be working at nights in the El Nido hotel then Coron hotel, so I have been looking at options such as this.
I’ve been to the Philippines once and I have a globe Sim card but now since they make you register it, it’s impossible to get a code sent to your phone when you’re no longer in the Philippines so this looks like a good option for my next trip
This is very helpful. I have a iPhone 13 mine(dual sim) and plan to use it instead of my old iPhone 10 that I used to bring and just keep 2 phones with me and a separate sims one from USA and one that I purchase in PHL when I land. I will install this eSim prior to my trip. Thanks
Hello, thank you for this video I learned a lot. Just a quick question. I will be working too while in the philipine and i have a physical sim in my iphone 16 as I am using my company internet carrier. When you switched to the esim, do you still get emails or access company files? Thank you again.
That’s not a problem at all. You can have both your physical sim card and your esim from the Philippines switched on at the same time (that’s what I do, as I sometimes get work calls to my UK number and need that number switched on for account verifications) just switch the mobile data on your iPhone off for your physical sim card and on for your eSim for the Philippines :)
Hello. I live in US. If I visit Philippines, I wouldnt be able to register sim cards bec I dont have Philippine ID. If I download Airalo or Halofly or Maya before leaving US, will I have data in Philippines after arriving without the need to register the esim? Can I continue to buy additional data while I'm in Philippines? Thanks
`Do i have to be in the Philippines to setup eSIM, can I set it up before I arrive in the philippines? And can it work with multiple devices like Internet on laptop as well as mobile phone, can you show how? Thanks
I have been very happy with this service provider. In both hotels where I stayed in Coron, I had not been able to work using their wifi (it was just too slow) but I was able to work using a hotspot on my phone, using data from this sim. And the signal has been generally very good on all the islands. So I have been really happy with it!
where did you get prepaid esim here in philippines. we went to smart located in sm southmall they said they dont have prepaid esim. globe doesnt have it aswell
But if you uses a Smart prepaid SIM just like what we used here local residence in Philippines you can save more money because mobile data would be cheaper. We have unlimited data for 499 pesos around 9 USD valid for 1 month but unfortunately this is for select SIM card only especially for those being a Smart user for a decent period the good news is Smart has also a unlimited data 5G promo for all their subscribers for 599 pesos only around 10.81 USD valid for 1 month the only requirement is you must be stay connected to 5G network at all the time because if you will be disconnected to 5G you cannot enjoy the unlimited data you will only consume your I think 20GB allowance for non 5G connection like 4G LTE or below and after that you can't access to the internet anymore if you consumed all your 20GB and you must connect to a 5G network to enjoy your 5G unlimited data again.
Your US number can be active at the same time while using this eSim. I’ve been using my UK number whenever I need to pick up or make work calls from the UK, and at the same time, I've been using data from this eSim. Just make sure mobile data is turned on for the eSim and not for your primary US number.
You can download the BNE eSim App from the app store or I also left a link to it in the description. Once you have the app on your phone you can follow the steps in the video to activate it.

Thanks for sharing step by step. This is helpful for me. Enjoy your vacation, Ola🌷

@@OlaLily thank you for the prompt reply. Enjoy or work / vacation 🙂
I have a question to you. What is the value you assign to fellow travelers you meet on the road?
it sets up your own number ?> or do you have to put in someones address and info
Thanks for sharing your amazing impormision
Does this eSIM allow you to make local calls? I'm interested in both data and making local calls. Thanks.

I’ll be heading to the Leyte in December, will this work on my iPhone 12 coming from the USA 🇺🇸??
Yes, this eSim definitely should work on your iPhone 12 in the Philippines, coming from the US 😊

Only thing about this how do you call locally? For example call hotel 🏨 , restaurants, etc
I’m curious, what do you do for work?
does smart offer prepaid esim?
is it only for data or do they issue you a local phone number?
i saw a local number on the phone when she was showing the app :)
Any updates? How was the service in Coron?

You need to upgrade it to postpaid Plan before you can use e-sim. Not available for prepaid sim to converted to e-sim.
