Rest in peace, Timbo. You were a comedic genius, a hero, but most importantly, you were a Goodie.
I know there are genius like Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, the Pythons, the cast of Blackadder, the IT Crowd, The Office, Steve Coogan and many more but The Goodies always make me laugh out loud, one of the funniest UK tv shows ever
that was fun.

This is so well done! I remember when Miss Kaye sent me the original on VHS, *mumble* years ago, back when she was the only other American Goodies fan I knew. Masterful re-creation. Bravo!!
One of my worst fears came true this morning when I woke up to the news that Tim had died. God, I hope Graeme & Bill don't get this fucking virus; I couldn't bear losing them now too. 😔 RIP Tim, you've earned it.
Gonna miss you Tim I loved the Goodies and all the radio shows you did, you'll be sadly missed.

For all of the years I've watched Python, I've never heard of The Goodies. I saw an article on Tim passing, and he went to school with Graham and Cleese, and this show aired about the same time. After seeing this, I will be watching every episode I can find. Brilliant. RIP Tim. Dont make Graham laugh too hard.
Actually, the episode Kung Fu Kapers made an old guy literally laugh himself to death. He had a bad heart though. His wife sent them a letter thanking them for making his final moments full of joy.

We were lucky in Australia with The Goodies on after Doctor Who every year growing up. The most magnificently silly thing I ever saw.

@@amojak And he had a hand in the Four Yorkshiremen sketch, which originated on At Last The 1948 Show! He also stood in for a poorly Michael Palin on Do Not Adjust Your Set one week.

I'm glad you included their take on the Rolo Sensation ad from Pollution! When That's TV showed some of the BBC episodes, Pollution wasn't included. That's TV repeating these and the LWT episodes helped to cheer up the last part of 2022, as did Comedy Central's repeats of The Ren & Stimpy Show.
RIP Tim, you were a legend and will continue to inspire me. genuinely still heartbroken.

Thank you so much for the remastering of this brilliant compilation, which is a great riposte to 'Who on earth were the Goodies?' remarks from the Vine generation. And Thank you, thank you, yum-yum to Bill, Graeme and Tim for all the laughs. It was worth the injuries. Keep drinking the Elixir.

They were never released on video, only a handful of BBC episodes.
They were only shown ever once on the BBC.
I bought the DVDs in Buffalo, NY from England. Plays great in computers even though it's a different Region.
Just wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of the lyrics to The Goodies version of Can Can. I'm sure it contained the line: "Offenbach would often park his bicycle outside our door...." Thanks
