    What beautiful craftsmanship. It's a shame that they aren't more widespread, though I can understand why from a financial standpoint. Tatami needs to be changed every six months or so and not a lot of people want to invest in a floor space like that when they can get a wood one which lasts a very long time.

    The new mats put into the temple were more green, than the old mats that were more brown. Is that because of age?

    Great information and insight but the audio overall is not good and this lass still has no clue on pronunciation, jeez it's not that hard give her a basic Japanese course...
    Damn, this is excellent craftsmanship on so many levels!
