Thank you so much for this very clear tutorial Urvashi. I have never made paper flowers before but I wanted to try to make some Stargazer lilies as a tribute to my neice who passed away recently. Is the paper you are using the double-thick kind? It seems smoother than the florist crepe...
Well, it is double sided crepe paper also known as duplex or doublette crepe. Hope this helps.😊

Hi Sithara, good to hear from you. This is double crepe paper also known as duplex or doublette or German crepe paper. It has 2 sheets of crepe paper joined together which makes it stronger and more stretchable. It is available online also on amazon and etsy. Hope this helps. Have a great weekend.

hi i need help, why the crepe paper start to lost the color after the flowers is made
You have to keep the flowers away from sunlight or any strong light if you want to keep them for longer time. I use double sided crepe paper and it's colour lasts for a long time.
what type of crepe paper are you using? the one I'm using doesn't seem to have the same texture

What kind of crepe paper are you using? When I started coloring the pedals and sepals, the paper stretched out horribly.

You could try using it, just don't use water. I think it might work for the dots.
